Milan Sharp dies in Nebraska
Milan Sharp, Valentine, Neb., brother of Adelia Hutter of Augusta, died in Valentine last
night.
His funeral will be Monday in Valentine.
Survivors also include another sister, Helen Clark of Harlingen, Texas; a brother, Robert Sharp of Huntsville, Ala., and brother-in-law, Clinton Hutter of Augusta.

Augustan’s mother dies at hospital
Rhoda McCormick, 75, Wichita, mother of Augustan Shirley Train, died Sunday night at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Funeral arrangements were pending this morning at the DeVorss Mortuary in Wichita.
Mrs. McCormick was born July 3, 1910 in Harrison, Ark.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Wichita and had been a resident of the Greenway Manor nursing hone in Wichita.
Memorials to the American Diabetes Association are suggested by the family.
In addition to Mrs. Train, McCormick leaves two sons, Edward and Robert McCormick, both of Wichita; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Anna Grunwald dies at 84
Anna J. Grunwald, 84, Augusta, died Monday at a nursing home in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Quiring-Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. John Pool will officiate and burial will be in the Old Mission Cemetery in Wichita.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
She was born April 11, 1901 in Kansas to John and Anna Maneth Skolaut.
She was a retired Henry’s Inc. seamstress and tailor.
Survivors include a son, Lynnly L. of Wichita; daughters, Wilma Busch of Fredonia, LaVone Linck of Augusta; half sister, Lucille Sidel of Olmitz; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Rhoda E. McCormick, 75, Wichita, mother of Shirley Train of Augusta, died at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Sunday.

She was born July 3, 1910 in Harrison, Ark., to Sylvester and Fanny Widner.
She married Benjamim Franklin McCormick. He preceded her in death in 1967.
Other survivors include sons, Bob, Ed of Wichita; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Nancy Landes, 92, Rose Hill, died Monday at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass. Rev. Alden Pitts will officiate and burial will be in the Rose Hill Friends Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Heritage Village Nursing Home in Rose Hill.
She was born April 1, 1893 in Minneaola to Stephen and Anna Davis Chance.
She married Fred Landes. He preceded her in death in 1971.
She lived in the Rose Hill area most of her life.
Survivors include sons, Delbert, Merlin of Mulvane; a brother, Paul Chance of Fowler, and two grandchildren.

Ruby L. Garrett funeral Monday
Ruby L. Garrett, 65, Wichita, mother of Phyllis Hanna of Augusta, died Thursday, March 6, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral was Monday afternoon at the Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Rexine H. Bryant officiated and burial was in the Resthaven Garden Of Memory.
She was born July 9, 1920 in Skiatook, Okla., to Jerry and Arvilla Johnson Smith.
She married William Lee Garrett May 10, 1981. He survives.
Mrs. Garrett was a retired assembly worker at Copeland Corp. in Wichita.
Other survivors include another daughter, Jerry Becker of Wichita; mother, Arvilla Stilley of Pryor, Okla.; brother, Raymond Smith of Pensacola, Okla.; sisters, Rhea Fain and Vera Fisher, both of Wichita; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.

Gilbert W. Lietzke dies in El Dorado
Gilbert William Lietzke, 80, El Dorado, died at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital yesterday.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Trinity United Methodist Church in El Dorado. Rev. Wayne Sharp will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born July 17, 1905 in rural Haverhill to August Carl and Jennnie Jolena Grant Lietzke.
He married Naomi Schadt June 4, 1946 in El Dorado. She survives.
He was a retired farmer and lived on the family farm 79 years before moving to El Dorado.
Other survivors include Dorothy Bower of El Dorado and Viola Boucher of Houston, Texas.
