Lyndal O. Roby dies at 38
Lyndal Owen Roby, 38, Wichita, brother of Curtis Roby of Augusta, died yesterday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Wichita.
His funeral was at 11 a.m. today at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Gilstrap officiated and burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 23, 1947 in Salem, Ark., to Owen and Dovie L. Byrd Roby.
He was a carpenter.
He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors also include daughters, Amber Lynn Roby of West Plains, Mo., Christi Huston, Patti Huston, both of Auburn, Ill.; father, Owen, and stepmother, Lillian Roby, both of Salem, Ark.; brother, Ray of Escondido, Calif.; sisters, Joann Burke of Newberg, Ore., Mary Ann January of Andover, Shirley Dunn of Wichita, Rochelle Garrison of Salem, Ark.

Hattie Tyler died Friday
Hattie Leona Tyler, 69, Leon, died Friday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Hayward Cemetery in Hayward, Okla.
She was born March 25, 1917 in Oklahoma to Clarence and Lillie Belle Space.
She married Wilson Tyler Sept. 28, 1959 in Gainesville, Texas. He survives.
She was a nurses aide.
Other survivors include sons, Steve Wesley Alexander of Lafayette, La., Ray Gene Alexander of Seattle, Wash., Frank Alfred Alexander of Oklahoma City, Okla.; daughter, Vivian Maxine Heath of Little Rock, Ark.; brothers, Frank Space of Wanetta, Okla., Edgar Space of Nowata, Okla.; sisters, Faye Newson of Edmond, Okla., Lucy Thombrew of McCloud, Okla., and eight grandchildren.

Gladys M. Spicer dies in Wichita
Gladys Myree Spicer, 73, Wichita, formerly of Augusta, died Friday at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral was at 2 p.m. today at the Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta. Father Tom Stroot officiated and burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 21, 1913 in Augusta to John William and Bertha Anna Mullin Carner.
She married Henry Williams. He preceded her in death.
She married Earl E. Spicer. He preceded her in death.
She was a former hotel maid.
Survivors include eight grandchildren including James D. Williams of Rose Hill, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A son, Jay Don Williams, preceded her in death.

Blanche Bally dies in Douglass
Blanche Cora Bally, 88, 1337 Pauline, died yesterday at Medicalodge of Douglass.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Andover Cemetery. Rev. Burl Allison Jr. will officiate.
She was born Sept. 25, 1897 in Andover to Frank and Mary Rogers Quillen.
She married J. Frank Bally Dec. 2, 1914 in Wichita. He preceded her in death in 1949.
She was a retired Beech Aircraft Co. worker.
She was a Methodist.
Survivors include a son, Sam J. Bally of Tampa, Fla.; daughters, Ina Grimes of Wichita, Vera Ward of Harlingen, Texas and Iris Malcom of Augusta; a sister, Muriel Wager of Wichita; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Carl Quillen and Forrest Quillen, and two sisters, Anna Bally and Pearl Wilson, preceded her in death.
