Keever R. Larrick dies in Topeka
Keever Ralph Larrick, 75, Topeka, formerly of Augusta, died Saturday at a Topeka care home.
There will be no funeral service.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas Elks Training Center, 1006 E. Waterman, Wichita, Kan., 67211.
he was born April 10, 1911 in Homewood to Winfield and Fannie Mae McIntosh Larrick.
He married Roseanna Ruth Doyle May 11, 1932 in Eureka. She survives.
He worked at the Mobil Oil refinery in Augusta for 45 years before retiring Jan. 1, 1973.
He was a member of the Mystic Tie Lodge 74 AF&AM, the Order of the Eastern Star and the BPOE in Augusta. He was state BPOE president in 1963 and served as a district deputy of the Grand Lodge of the BPOE. He was instrumental in organizing and funding the Kansas Elks Training Center for the handicapped in Wichita. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite in Wichita.
Survivors include daughters, Marilyn Rose Blowey of Topeka and Janet Jo Jones of Toledo, Wash.; a son, David Lin Larrick of Overland Park; a sister, Jean Thoms of Spring Hill; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bret VanArsdale died in Nebraska
Bret D. VanArsdale, infant son of Brian and Penny VanArsdale of Milford, Neb., died Tuesday at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m. today at the Abilene, Kan., cemetery. Rev. Carson Johnson officiated.
Survivors include the parents; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry VanArsdale of Abilene, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bickel of Manassa, Va.

Father dies in El Dorado
Lyall Cherryholmes, 84, El Dorado, father of Elenor Joy Lambing of Douglass, died Wednesday at his home.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Rev. Wayne Sharp will officiate and burial will be in the Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Lung Association.
He was born Aug. 31, 1901 in Crawfordsville, Iowa, to James H. and Matilda Cowie Cherryholmes.
He married Cecil Milbourn June 2, 1925 in El Dorado. She died Feb. 8, 1984.
He was a retired Latham farmer and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in El Dorado.
Others survivors include a son, Dr. Cleo Cherryholmes of Okemos, Mich.; another daughter, Deloris Ella Mae Kennedy of El Dorado; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Ruth P. Drinnen dies in hospital
Ruth Pearl Drinnen, 72, Fall River, mother of Marsha Agard of Augusta, died Saturday at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Severy, Kan., United Methodist Church. Rev. Tony Pameticky and Rev. Bob McGuire will officiate. Burial will be in the South Lawn Cemetery at Severy.
She was born Dec. 25,1913 in Kansas William and Edith Talbot Fincham
She married Cecil Drinnen. He survives.
Other survivors include sons, William, Floyd, Cecil, Richard, all of Wichita, Donald of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters, Norma Poell of Wichita, Betty Curtis of Charleston, S.C.; sister, Vida Wilson of Blue Rapids;38 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.

Naomi Thomas dies at 77
Naomi Thomas, 77, Sedgwick, mother of Bill Thomas of Augusta, died Wednesday at a Newton hospital.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Peterson Funeral Home in Newton. Rev. Kim Beckwith will officiate and burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
A memorial has been established with Lillian Tear Library, in care of the Sedgwick State Bank.
She was born Dec. 23, 1908 in Sedgwick to Oscar and Julia Thomas Behymer.
She married William B. Thomas Sept. 15, 1928 in Wichita. He preceded her in death Jan. 2, 1986.
Other survivors include sons, Jack and Jerry, both of Newton, Allen of Sedgwick; daughters, Mabel Stamback of Sedgwick, Beverly Hilberling of Tulsa, Okla., Judy Spencer, Lorna Preston, both of Newton; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Infant dies
Angelica Christine Long, infant daughter of Mark and Mary Long of Cottonwood Falls, was stillborn at Newman’s Memorial Hospital in Emporia Friday.
A graveside service was at 3 p.m. yesterday at the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood Falls.
Survivors include brothers, Jake, Josh, both at home; grandparents, Earline Long of Winfield, Virgil Long of Colorado, Charles and Virginia Pratt of El Dorado; great-grandparents, Bertha Dutton of Douglass, Ruby Long of Cottonwood Falls.
