Clement Ridder dies in Wichita
Clement “Bud” Ridder, 60, Wichita, brother of William Ridder of Augusta, died Friday at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
The rosary will be at 7:30 o’clock tonight and the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow, both at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wichita. Father Donal O’Hare will officiate and burial will be in the Resurrection Cemetery in Wichita.
He was born Jan. 6, 1926 in Wichita to Maurice and Edna Timmermeyer.
He married Martha A. Hermes. She survives.
He was a senior vice president of Fidelity Title Co. in Wichita.
Other survivors include a son, Anthony of Shawnee; daughters, Karen Stockwell of Streamwood, Ill., Rebecca of Wichita; another brother, Leonard of Wichita; sisters, Clara Roths, Adelia Smith, both of Wichita, Rita McClelland of Parsons, and three grandchildren.
Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.

K.G. Murrey funeral Friday
K.G. “Friday” Murrey, 71, 2023 Robbins Street, died Tuesday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta. Rev. Burl Allison Jr. will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery here.
He was born March 15, 1915 in Latham to Frank and Lola Bing Murrey.
He married Eileen Smith Dec. 22, 1938 in El Dorado. She survives.
Murrey was a past exalted ruler of the Augusta Elks Lodge. He was a member of the El Dorado Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a supervisor at Mobil Oil refinery where he worked from 1936 to 1977.
He served in the military during World War II. He was a Baptist.
Other survivors include sons, David and Dennis, both of Wichita; a brother, Ted of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Blanche Lee of Girard, Lorene Johnson of San Jose, Calif., Geneva Vincent of San Raphel, Calif., and three grandchildren.
Memorials to the local hospital have been suggested.

Lonnie Kemper died today at 77
Lonnie Kemper, 77, Artesia, N.M., formerly of Augusta, died today.
His funeral will be Saturday in Artesia.
He was retired from the oil business.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of the home; daughter, Joanne of Dexter, N.M.; mother, Emma Kemper of Walnut Valley Nursing Home in Augusta, and three grandchildren.

Helen Ketterman dies in El Dorado
Helen L. Ketterman, 57, El Dorado, mother of Don Ketterman and daughter of Nellie Essick both of Augusta, died Sunday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado. Rev. Dottie Forinash Knetsch will officiate and burial will be in the Hamilton, Kan., cemetery.
She was born April 3, 1929 in Eureka to John and Nellie Walford Essick.
She married Charles Ketterman Aug. 2, 1948 in Yates Center. He survives.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado.
Other survivors include a daughter, Linda Leben of El Dorado; five sisters, Mary Sanderson of Littleton, Colo., Georgia Taylor of Wichita, Annabelle Howard of Andover, Louise Kleystauber of Collins, Mo., and Gertrude Buckle of Sylvia, and six grandchildren.

Iona McCarter died Monday
Ione McCarter, 69, Estes Park, Colo., mother of Diedra Chapin of Augusta, died Monday.
Her funeral service was private.
Memorials have been established with the Estes Park Library and the American Cancer Society.
Other survivors include her husband, Harry; son, Randal of Corona Del Mar, Calif.; daughters, Judy Spencer of Euless, Texas, Faith Temple of Dallas, Texas; brother, Gene Cormany of Newport Beach, Calif., and nine grandchildren.
