Raymond McClure died Sunday at 81
Raymond W. McClure, 81, Leon, died Sunday at his home.
His funeral was at 2 p.m. today at the Kirby Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado. Rev. Tony Venturella officiated and burial was in the Leon Cemetery. A memorial been established with the American Heart Association.
He was born May 28, 1905 in Flat Rock, Ill., to John and Lenora Darnold McClure.
He married Emma Daron June 8, 1924 in Robinson, Ill. She survives.
He was a retired oil field worker and farmer.
Other survivors include sons, Lavaughn of Loveland, Colo., Gene of El Dorado, Stephen, Glen, both of Augusta, Gary of Liberal; daughters, Nadine Phelps, Louise Dickey, both of Wichita; brother, Harvey Albert of Wichita; sister, Hazel Marie Zang of Grand Junction, Colo.; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Brother’s funeral at Wichita church
Alfred Paul Nath, 75, Wichita, brother of Butler County commissioner E.W. Nath of Augusta, died yesterday in Wichita.
His funeral will be held 10 o’clock Wednesday morning at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wichita. Rev. John F. Niermann will officiate and burial will be in the Wichita Park Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the church.
Nath was the retired president of Home Oil Company.
He was born May 29, 1911 in Waterloo, Iowa, to Carl C. and Hedwig Hager Nath.
Nath was married to Edna S. Reinwald. She survives.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wichita and of the Wichita Lions Club.
In addition to the brother here, he leaves two daughters, Charleen Hamilton of Arvada, Colo., and Claudine Osborne, Manchester, Mo., and four grandchildren.

Evaleina McElroy died Tuesday at 80
Evaleina Berner McElroy, 80, Wichita, sister of Leon Berner of Augusta, died Tuesday at Riverside Hospital in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the West Side Christian Church in Wichita. Rev. David M. McCord will officiate and burial will be in the White Chapel Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the West Side Christian Church.
She was born Aug. 29, 1905 in Iowa.
She married Lyle F. McElroy May 19, 1973. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Fred Wiley of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughters, Viola Mauser of El Paso, Texas and Ernestine Seager of Tampa, Fla; stepsons, Charles McElroy of Bellingham, Wash., James McElroy of Duvall, Wash.; sisters, Rosa Reisch of Ponca City, Okla., Dorothy Houston and Alma Tomlin, both of Monterey Park, Calif., and Ruth Mayne of Wichita, and 19 grandchildren.
Cochran Mortuary in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.

Theodore Fretz dies at 83
Theodore C. Fretz, 83, Pratt, a retired mechanic and father of Allen Fretz of Augusta, died Thursday, May 29.
His funeral was Saturday, May 31, at the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home in Mena, Ark.
Other survivors include his wife, Helen; sons, Warren of Lawton, Okla., Donald of Hatfield; daughters, Betty Evans of Wichita, Judy Crowley of Mena, Ark.; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

Frank T. Ordway dies in Iowa
Frank T. Ordway, 82, Wichita, father of Louise Greever of Augusta, died Tuesday at a Leon, Iowa, hospital.
His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Quiring-Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita. Burial will be in the Old Mission Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 4, 1903 in Davis City, Iowa.
Other survivors include his wife, Berdie; daughters, Velva Berryman of Federal Way, Wash., Frances Hatcher, Shirley McCully, both of Wichita; brother, Earold of Lamoni, Iowa; sister, Ruby Scott of Leon, Iowa; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
