Betty L. Wilson service Saturday
Betty Lorene Wilson, 61, died today at the Augusta Medical Complex long term care unit.
A graveside service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Rev. Ray Gilstrap of the First Baptist Church will officiate.
Wilson, a homemaker, was born March 29, 1925, to John Roberts and Martha Morrison in Grove, Okla.
She was married to Charles Wilson who preceded her in death.
Survivors are a son, Charles Leon Wilson of Los Angeles, Calif., and a sister, Letha Hale of Wichita.

Olga Tice dies in Oklahoma i
Olga D. Craft LeMaster Tice, 53, died yesterday at the Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Yukon.
Tice was born Oct. 16, 1932, in Kentucky. She lived in Oklahoma for the past 15 years. She worked as a cook.
Survivors are her husband, Gail Tice of the home; a son, Steve LeMaster of Towanda; three daughters, Starre Burkhardt of Garden Grove, Calif., Ede LeMaster of Big Bear, Calif., and Franka LeMaster of Yukon, Okla.; her mother, Rhoda Faye Craft of Oklahoma City; three brothers, John of Yukon, Okla., Jim of Gentry, Ark., and Eddie of North Carolina; three stepchildren and 12 grandchildren.

Berma A. Lough died Wednesday
Berma A, Lough, 73, Route 1, died Wednesday, July 30.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel in Wichita. Burial will be at Rest Haven Garden of Memories, Wichita.
Lough was a retired nurse’s aid at the Sedgwick County Health Department in Wichita.
Survivors are; her husband, James E. Lough; three sons, Jim of Napa, Calif., Ellsworth of Wichita, and Larry of Haysville,; three daughters, Joy Starkey of Wichita, Naomi Kirtley of Littleton, Colo., and Carol Eliot of Haysville; three brothers, Thomas Cooper of Oklahoma City, Okla., Elmo Major Cooper of Watonga, Okla., and Alton Cooper of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Joy Stevens of Geary, Okla.; 21 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made with the American Heart Assocation.

Anna Rogers dies at 70
Anna Rogers, 70, mother of Betty Hiser of Augusta, died July 30 in Blue Springs, Mo.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Cochran Mortuary’s Chapel of Roses. Dr. Ivan G. Mattern will officiate. Burial will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.
Anna Rogers was born Oct 20, 1915, in Lyons. She was a retired seamstress with the Coleman Company.
Her survivors include two sons, Kenneth Edelman of Wichita and William L. Rogers of Daytona Beach, Fla.; five daughters, Betty Hiser of Augusta, Mary Ebling and Leatha Tabing, both of Blue Springs, Shirley Nelson of Waldron, and Judy Adams of Wichita; a sister, Norene Roberts of Oklahoma City; 36 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Shoffner dies in Wichita
Elizabeth Shoffner, 79, of Wichita, died July 31 in Christ Villa Nursing Center, Wichita. She was the step-mother of Jim Shoffner, Augusta.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Morian Cemetery, Savonburg. Dr. Ivan G. Mattern will officiate.
Born Sept. 21, 1906, in Savonburg, Elizabeth Shoffner was a retired school teacher.
Her survivors include two stepsons, Jim of Augusta and Max of El Reno, Okla.; two stepdaughters, Betty Lackey of Derby and Shirley Acton of St. Louis; 10 step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

Roselyn Gilmore dies in Wichita
Roselyn A. Gilmore, 40, sister of Virginia Winzer of Augusta, died July 27 in Wichita.
Graveside services were held today at 2:30 p.m. in South Haven Cemetery.
Born Oct. 3, 1945, Roselyn Gilmore was employed as a retail grocery clerk.
Her survivors include a son, Larry Irsik of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Virginia Winzer of Augusta; and one grandson.

2-vehicle crash kills area man
Douglas M. Hoppe of rural Towanda died as result of injuries suffered Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision at 45th Street and 161st Street according to a sheriff’s office report.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
Derek Shore of Augusta was identified as driver of the other vehicle involved, according to the sheriff’s office.
