MARY NUTTER
Mary M. Nutter died yesterday
Mary Margaret Nutter, 73, 1515 Clubhouse Drive, died yesterday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Jon Grissom will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Pink Ladies at AMCI.
She was born June 7, 1913 in Cassville, Mo., to Arthur and Cora Jackson Williams.
She married William Arthur Nutter Aug. 5, 1931 in Winfield. He preceded her in death in 1971.
Mrs. Nutter was a Pink Lady at AMCI and was named volunteer of the month last year. She was also a volunteer with the American Red Cross blood program. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was a retired retail clerk for the Ben Franklin Store.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Hill of St. Francis; brothers, Marion Williams of Augusta and Bill Williams of Monnet, Mo.; sisters, Virginia Cassity and Bonnie Austin, both of Augusta, Georgia Hopins of Cassville, Mo., Aleene Lathim of Liberal, Mo.; seven grandchildren including Debbie Cearly of Augusta, and four great-grandchildren.

Henry G. Abel died Thursday
Henry G. Abel, 87, Omaha, Neb,, formerly of Augusta, died in Omaha yesterday.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 4, 1898 in Garden Plain to Frederick and Laura Kuehl Abel.
He married Helen M. Martin Oct. 23, 1937 in Wichita. She preceded him in death in 1981.
He was a retired superintendent for Mobil Oil Pipeline Terminal at Omaha. He served in the military during World War I and was a member of BPOE.
Survivors include sons, Barry Dee Abel and Roger Lee Abel, both of Omaha; brothers, Leon Abel of Little Silver, N.J., and Alvin Abel of Vancouver, Wash.; sisters, Helen Warrell of Long Beach, Calif., Velma Rostberg of Salt Lake City, Utah, and three grandchildren, Michael, Douglas and Maureen, all of Omaha.
Logan H. Woolley died in Missouri
Logan H. Woolley, 79, Kansas City, Mo., died there Wednesday.
His funeral will be at 7 o’clock tonight at the Mt. Moriah Funeral Home in Kansas City. Burial will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta. Rev. David Bishop will officiate.
A memorial has been established with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders.
He was married to former
Augustan Ruth Sorby. She preceded him in death in 1984.
He was a retired licensed professional engineer.
Survivors include sisters, Dorothea Lenington of Kansas City, Mo., and Betty J. Shapley of Raytown, Mo.
Downing & Lahey Funeral Home in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.
Mort Tomlin died Thursday at 84
Mort Tomlin, 84, Arkansas City, brother of Alberta Starkey of Douglass and Ruth Bacon of Leon, died yesterday at an Arkansas City hospital.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Rindt-Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Home in Arkansas City. Rev. Ronnie Epps and Rev. H. Dean LaVelle will officiate and burial will in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery there.
Memorials have been established with the Bible Christian Church and the American Heart
Association.
He was born Feb. 7, 1902 in Udall to Edward and Ocea Johnson Tomlin.
He married Annetta Simons April 23,1925 in Newkirk, Okla. She survives.
He was a retired office manager for KG&E.
Other survivors include a son, Edward of Anthony; a daughter, Jeanne Pagett of Gardner; five grandsons, and four great-grandchildren.
