Sister Dies In El Dorado
Jennie Ann King, 91, El Dorado, sister of Eunice Bevan of Leon, died Monday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Walnut Valley Memorial Park in El Dorado. Rev. Tim Spon.
A memorial has been established with the Arthritis Foundation.
She was born Feb. 5, 1891 in El Dorado to B.W. and Sherlotte Marcum Hacker.
Other survivors include a son, Wayne King of Moran; daughters, Hazel Shultz of Eureka, Ophelia Milligan, Lucille Triplett, Doris Smith, all of El Dorado, Audrey Gardner of Wichita; brothers, Amos Hacker of El Dorado, Brice Hacker of Wichita; sisters, Myrtle Worden of Jefferson City, Mo. Lena LaRue, Edna MacGregor and Ethel Strickland, all of El Dorado; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado is in charge.

Brother Dies
Everett Jordan, 78, of rural Douglass, died April 25.
The funeral will be in the Ford Duneral Home in Cof-feyville at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28. Burial will be in the Lenapah, Okla. cemetery.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Raymond Ellis of Augusta; a daughter, Loretta Frisbie of Grove, Okla.; a brother, Fred Jordan of Wichita, and two more sisters, Iva Hensley of Wichita and Onie Wood of Vernice, Okla.

Brother Dies In Wichita
Eldon Earl Hughes, 58, Wichita, brother of Jean Mabry of Augusta, died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
His service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the DeVorss Mortuary Chapel in Wichita. Rev. Herb Cockerill will officiate and burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
A memorial has been established with the First United Methodist Church in Wichita.
He was bom March 1, 1924 in Leon to Christopher Columbus and Minnie Dale Lyman Hughes.
He married Peggy Jo Fountain. She survives.
He was an inspector for the National Cash Register Co.
He was a World War II veteran. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Moose Lodge.
Other survivors include a son, Eldon Eugene Hughes of Wichita; daughters, Jennifer Lynn Utsler, Pamela Sue Aguilera, and Cynthia K. Des-bien, all of Wichita; a brother, Howe Hughes of Wichita, and sisters, Luida Rudford, Verdele Russell, both of Wichita and Christine Moulder of Springfield, Mo.


Mother Dies In Topkeka
Arabell Leonard, 87, Carbon-dale, mother of Edwin Leonard of Augusta, died Tuesday at a Topeka hospital.
Her service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tibbitts and Griffin Chapel in Topeak. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The family has established a memorial in her name. Funds received will be given to a church, in her memory. Fund may be sent to the family or the funeral home in her name.
She was bom Dec. 23, 1894 in Michigan Valley.
Her husband, Walter Leonard, preceded her in death July 11, 1967.
Other survivors include three other sons, Dwight Leonard of Seattle, Wash., Keith Leonard, Denver, Colo., and Dean Leonard, Topeka; two daughters, Pearl Uhl of Perry and Idell Grimsley, Silver Lake; a sister, Charlotte Miller of Choral Gables, Fla.; five brothers, Earl Salsbery, George Salsbery and LeRoy Salsbery, all of Overbrook, Donald Salsbery of Baldwin and Albert Salsbery of Topeka; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
