Bernice D. Davis died in Wichita
Bernice Dorothy Davis, 83, Rose Hill, former Augusta businesswoman, died Wednesday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Axmann will officiate and burial will be in the Douglass Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
She was born May 27, 1903 in Illinois to Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Lockery.
In 1941, she married T. Grant Davis in Wichita. He survives.
She was the former co-owner of the Davis Plumbing Co. of Augusta.
Other survivors include a son, Robert W. Moore and his wife, Lynn, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a stepson, T.G. Davis and his wife, Norma, of Wichita; a stepdaughter, Charlene Nelson and her husband, Charles, of Salina; a daughter-in-law, Annabelle Moore of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Bertha Goodwin died at 74 Friday
Bertha L. Goodwin, 74, Cedar Vale, sister of John Wheeler of Augusta, died Friday.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Cedar Vale United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include her husband, Ernest; a son, John C. of Concordia; daughter, Maxine M. Hutchinson of Buhler; brother, Kenneth Wheeler of Andover; sisters, Nina Webster of Dodge City, Eula Middaugh of Wichita; six grandlchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Sylvester Andra died Friday at 75
Sylvester J. Andra, 75, Conway Springs, brother of Wilfred Andra of Augusta, died Friday.
His funeral was at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway Springs. Father Leroy Linnebur officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the church parrish.
He was born Aug. 14, 1911 in Andale to John and Ann Zenzen Andra.
He married Rosemary Cordes Feb. 16, 1934 in Aleppo. She survives.
Mr. Andra was a farmer.
Other survivors include sons, Kenneth, Randall, both of Conway Springs, daughters, Mary Ann Conrady of Sedgwick, Lillian McGregor of Wichita, Barbara Becker of Emporia; brothers, John, Jerry, Elmer, all of Conway Springs, Ed of Colwich, Lawrence of Wichita; sisters, Clara Waltersheid of Wichita, Florence Becker of Wellington, Katherine Kessler of Mulvane, Lucille Schauf of Garden Plain; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ruth E. Neil died yesterday
Ruth E. Neil, 78, El Dorado, mother of Betty R. Garner of Leon, died yesterday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
There will be no service.
A memorial has been established with the Salvation Army in El Dorado.
She was born Jan. 2, 1908 in Lexington, Mo., to A.T. and Nellie Maude Jordan Foulks.
Other survivors include a son, George Snell Jr., of Snyder, Neb.; a sister, Georgia Harris of Warsaw, Mo.; a brother, Bud White of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.

Richard Harlan died at AMCI
Richard Samuel Harlan, 56, 517 Grove, died yesterday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. George Goudie will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born May 11, 1930 in Augusta to Sam and Anna Whittle Harlan.
He married Aleen Marie Rash May 6, 1951 in Berryville, Ark.
She preceded him in death in 1982.
He was a state architectural inspector and served in the military during World War II.
Survivors include sons, Sam of Burlington, Rick and Mike, both of Augusta; daughters, Patricia Starkel of Augusta and Pam Thornton of El Dorado; grandchildren, Erica and Aleen Thornton of El Dorado and Patrick and J.J. Harlan of Augusta.

Marry C. Hull died Sunday
Marry Cathrine Hull, 66, Grenola, sister of Ennis C. “Ike” Condon and Edna Mitchell of Douglass and Marie Lee of Augusta, died Sunday at a Winfield hospital.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Green-lawn Cemetery in Grenola. Rev.
Bill Platt will officiate.
She was born Nov. 26, 1919 in Latham to Walter Addison and Alma Irene Yarbrough Condon.
She married Raymond F. Hull June 25, 1937 in Howard. He survives.
She was a member of the Grenola Christian Church.
Other survivors include sons, Floyd A. of Moline, Bill R. of Grenola;. daughters, Arleta F. Allison of Cambridge, Delores K. Alberts of Moline, Shirley J. Smith of Independence; sisters, Meda Felders of Eureka, Leona Neubecker of Grenola, Mabel Brown of Wichita; 22 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
