Lena Tannahill died Wednesday
Lena Tannahill, 88, Yates Center, mother of Lois Hollingsworth of Augusta, died Wednesday at the Allen County Hospital in Iola.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center.
A memorial has been established with the Yates Center United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include daughters, Shirley Yeager of Cottonwood, Ariz., Ula Eagle of Yates Center; a son, Arthur Tannahill of Derby; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren

Teresa Cross died Friday
Teresa Cross, 25, Newton, former manager of Hardees of Augusta, died Friday in a one-car accident in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The Christian Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Okla., is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established with Muscular Dystrophy Association.
She was enrolled in business classes at Wichita State University and worked as a waitress at Dobbs International at the airport and the Amarillo Grill East in Wichita.
Survivors include a son, Joshua and a daughter, Brandalin, both at home; her father, Jon M. Hilton of Newton; her mother, Louise Hilton and her brother, Jon M. Jr., both of Wichita; a sister, Tami Sue Hilton, grandparents, Lloyd and Velma Hilton, all of Newton; step-grandfather, Harry Fansler of Port Aransas, Texas; great-grandmother, Ethel Harris of Wichita.

Samuel A. Ward rites are today
Samuel A. Ward, 92, 2101 Dearborn, died Thursday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His funeral was at 3 p.m. today at the Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Lary Oyer officiated and burial was in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
He was born May 28, 1894 in Walterhill, Tenn., to C.C. Ward and Sannie Lester Ward.
He married Myrtle Wilson. She preceded him in death.
He was a retired maintenance man for Builders Inc.
Other survivors include sons, Robert of El Dorado, Clyde of Derby, Ollie of Wichita, Spurgin of Albany, Ga., Herbert of Fort Worth, Texas, Billy Ray of Jeffersoon City, Mo., Grady of Sulphur, La.; daughters, Marie Renard of Wichita, Mary Scheerger of Belle Plaine; brother, Earl of Ponca City, Okla.,; sister, Cassie Arnold of Indiana; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-granchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Robert B. Fulton died in Andover
Robert Brice Fulton, 71, Derby, died today at the Andover Health Care Center in Andover.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Association, 1231 Longfellow, Wichita, Kan., 67207.
He was born Sept. 7, 1915 in Markle, Ind., to Henry and Mae Bechtold Fulton.
He married Helen Marie Willing Nov. 6, 1939 in El Dorado. She survives.
He was a lease operator for Mobil Oil and a member of the Harper United Methodist Church. He served in the military during World War II.
Other survivors include a daughter, Patricia S. Gilberg of Derby; brothers, Wilbur of Syracuse and James of Green Valley, Ariz.; sisters, Helen Reed of El Dorado, Lucille Moore of Medicine Lodge and Kathryn Taylor of Wichita, and a grandson, Scott Meeker of Derby.
Eugene J. Thiel dies in Wichita
Eugene J. Thiel, 78, Wichita, father of Bobbie Duane Thiel of Douglass, died Saturday at the St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Harper, Kan., cemetery. Rev. Mike Weatherspoon will officiate.
He was born March 18, 1908 at Duquoin to John and Mary Raida Thiel.
He married Gertrude Thiel Oct. 21, 1932 in Leota. She survives.
Mr. Thiel was a retired Boeing Military Aircraft Co. employee.
Other survivors include daughters, Delores Jane Crater of Medicine Lodge, Loretta Irene McFall of Little Rock, Ark.; brothers, Leonard Thiel of Holton and Johnny Thiel of Chase; sisters, Virginia Foulk of Houston, Texas, Helen Hoy of Rock Island, Ill., Elizabeth Crellin of Sun City, Calif.; nine grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Elliott Funeral Home in Harper is in charge of arrangements.
