Neva I. Jones died yesterday
Neva Irene Jones, 84, 1410 State, died yesterday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Christ Lutheran Church. Rev. Gaylen Burow will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 13, 1902 in Burden to Roy L. and Pearl Kelso Bailey.
She married Neil Jones Sept. 27, 1920 in El Dorado. He survives.
She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.
Other survivors include daughters,Helen Hime of Augusta and Connie Koester of Wichita; brothers, Bill Bailey of Glendora, Calif., Eugene Bailey of Klamath Falls, Ore.; a half brother, Roy Bailey of Martinez, Calif.; a sister, Clarissa Hill of Klamath Falls; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the church.

Cecil Turley died Monday
Cecil H. Turley, 73, Wichita, brother of Ina Minerd of Augusta, died Monday at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Cochran Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Gary Reynolds will officiate and burial will be in the White Chapel Cemetery.
He was born March 30, 1913 in Bancroft to William and Dora Connelly Turley.
He was a retired Womer Construction Co. plasterboard installer and carpenter.
Other survivors include his wife, Moyne, sons Gary, Danny C., daughters, Lynda Jones, Sonya, brother, Lester, all of Wichita; sisters, Irene Carey of Oldsmar, Fla., May Straw of Wichita, Margaret Lord of Elk Falls, and five grandchildren.

Ethel Lehmann died in Derby
Ethel R. Lehmann, 91, sister of Lucy Faye Johnson of Augusta, died yesterday at a Derby nursing home.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eureka. Dr. Gilbert Daniel will officiate and burial will be in the Upper Fall River Center, near Eureka.
She was born Oct. 19, 1895 in Hatfield Green to James and Lizzie Richards.
She married Oscar Henry Lehmann Feb. 5, 1918. He preceded her in death Nov. 1, 1981.
She was employed Wilson Propane and Triway Sales in Wichita before her retirement.
Other survivors include a son, Richard H. of Colorado, Springs, Colo.; daughters, Ruth Smithson of Ardmore, Okla., Vera Connell of Wichita, Jean Stevens of Wichita and Patricia Wilson of Donna, Texas; a sister, Elreen Dean of Skiatook, Okla.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Frank Gruver died at 75
Frank Gruver, 75, Guymon, Okla., brother of Mae Gruver of Augusta, died Wednesday at his home.
Services are pending for Saturday in Guymon.
He was a former Augusta resident.
Other survivors include his wife, Alice Harryman Gruver of Guymon and a son, Henry of Dallas, Texas.

Torkelson rites are pending
Mrs. Dale (Phyllis) Torkelson of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of rural Augusta, died yesterday while on a business/vacation trip with her husband to California.
Arrangements are pending at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Fern Rosebaugh died yesterday
Fern Erma Rosebraugh, 72, Cottonwood Falls, mother of Leroy Rosebraugh of Augusta, died yesterday at the Chase County Nursing Center in Cottonwood Falls.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Brown-
Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. Rev. Larry Bowyer will officiate and burial will be in the Homestead Cemetery, southwest of Cottonwood Falls.
Memorials have been established with the Chase County Senior Center or the Home Health Services of Chase County Inc.
She was born Sept. 23, 1914 in Aness to Alton and Bertha Tuttle Gable.
She married Guy S. Rosebraugh Dec.21, 1940 in Emporia. He survives.
Mrs. Rosebraugh taught school in Chase, Sumner and Cowley counties and worked at the Roniger Museum in Cottonwood Falls. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Falls Chapter 25 Order of the Eastern Star.
Other survivors include brothers, Glenn Gable of Sterling, Dale Lee Gable of Wichita; a sister, Lois Volk of Grove, Okla.; two grandchildren, Christina and Spencer Rosebraugh, both of Augusta.
A brother, Paul, preceded her in death.
