Pansy Musser Long died in Wichita
Pansy Armanda Musser Long, 94, Wichita, formerly of Augusta, died today at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta. Rev. Jon Grissom will officiate.
She was born Dec. 5, 1892 in Sisterville, W.Va., to Joseph and Laura Bell Kelch Henderson.
She married Howard E. Musser. He preceded her in death in 1946. She married Carrol Long. He died in 1971.
Mrs. Long was a retired school teacher. She had taught in Valley Center and in the Lincoln, Kan., school systems. She was a member of the Christian church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Joe of Wichita; daughter, Myrna Morse of Wichita, and three grandchildren.

Helen E. Gooch died in El Dorado
Helen E. Gooch, 71, El Dorado, formerly of Augusta, died Thursday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Leon, Kan., cemetery.
She was born July 7, 1915 in Urich, Mo., to Lewis and Edna Pearle Foutts McGill.
She married William E. Gooch April 6, 1933 in Urich. He preceded her in death June 12, 1976.
Survivors include a son, Dale of Augusta; daughters, Naomi Laswell of El Dorado, Doris Franks of Beaumont and Alice Edwards of El Dorado; brother, Lewis McGill of Wichita; sister, Alene LaPorte of Stockton, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.

Benjamin Adkins Sr. died Wednesday
Benjamin D. Adkins Sr., 60 Wichita, father of Vic Adams of Douglas died Wednesday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Bethany United Methodist Church in Wichita. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow Toronto, Kan. cemetery.
Memorials have been established with the Wichita Chief Petty Officers Association and the Wesley Medical Center Oncology Unit.
He was bom Dec. 2, 1926 in Toronto to Benjamin Carl and Alda Beatrice Sherman Adkins.
He married Anne Young March 17, 1974. She survives.
He was a Derby Refinery pipeline superintendent and retired U.S. Naval Reserve chief petty officer.
Other survivors include a son, Benjamin D. Jr. of Wichita; daughters, Deb of Wichita, Diana Caven of Rose Hill; sister, Grade B. Alspaugh of Arlington, Va.; half brother, Sonny; half sister, Donna Sele, both of Toronto; seven grandchildren, and a greatgrandchild.
Cochran Mortuary in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.

Rites are pending for Ina L. Osborn
Ina Lucille Osborn, 75,501 E. Fifth Street, died this morning at her home.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Survivors include a sister, Lucille Osborn of Augusta.

Ina Lucille Osborn, 75, 501 E. Fifth Street, mother of Lucille Osborn of Augusta, died Friday at her home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta. Rev. Richard Axmann will officiate.
She was born Oct. 4, 1911 in Lattimer to Leslie Vernon and Nina Johnson Hungerford.
She married Leslie Osborn Sept. 10, 1940 in Augusta. He preceded her in death in 1970.
Other survivors include a stepson, Loren Osborn of El Dorado; daughter, Sharon Marlow of Garfield, N.M.; sisters, Vera Bruce of Abilene and Anita Belton of Hillsboro; stepsisters, Adeline Lowe of San Diego, Calif., Dorothy Langley and Marguerite Brynes, both of Ponca City, Okla.; three grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Loulia M. Seglem died Saturday at 86
Loulia Mae Seglem, 86, Wichita, aunt of Bill Seglem, Irene McCaffree and Inger Pennington, all of Augusta, died Saturday at Good Samaritan Village in Winfield.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta. Dr. George Boone will officiate.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
She was born May 23, 1900 in Concord, Mich., to George and Lillian Belle Ferguson Scheffield.
She married Melvin C. Seglem. He preceded her in death.
Other survivors include sons, Marvin H. of Scottsdale, Ariz., Norman N. of Virginia Beach, Va., Melvin C. of Wichita; daughters, May Belle Chastain of St. Louis, Mo., Dorothy J. Schwantes of Winfield; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
The DeVorss Mortuary in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.
