Harry Wilscam died Monday
Harry Wilscam, Wichita, father of Neil Wilscam of Augus-ta, died Monday at his home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Andover, Kan., cemetery. Mr. Don Ramu will officiate.
He married Laura Minerd. She survives.
Other survivors include a brother, Donald of Wichita; sisters, June Jensen of Hayward, Calif., Reah Johnston of Hudson, Wis., and two grandchildren.
Downing & Lahey Mortuary in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.

Lula McCreery dies at age 101, funeral on Friday
Butler County has lost one of its oldest residents.
The life of 101-year-old Lula Pearl McCreery expired Monday, Jan. 19, at the Medicalodge nursing home in Douglass where she had been a resident for several years.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, by Rev. Thomas J. Norman, pastor of the Hillside Christian Church, at the Richland Cemetery of rural Douglass.
Mrs. McCreery was born Sept. 3,1885 in Douglass as a daughter of William P. and Servilla Harris Whitted.
She married James McCreery in 1923. He died three years later.
Mrs. McCreery never remarried and worked many years as a domestic housekeeper in this area.
She was a member of the Christian church.
Survivors include a nephew, Earl Ford of El Dorado, and two nieces, Fern Baker and Frankie Bums, both of Wichita.
The Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home of Douglass is in charge of arrangements.

Helen H. Corbin rites are tomorrow
Helen Hart Corbin, 68, rural Towanda, died Monday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Burl Allison Jr. will officiate and burial will be in the Indianola Cemetery in rural Augusta.
The family suggests friends may make contributions to their favorite charity.
She was born March 6, 1918 in rural Augusta to Elmer and Hazel McGlade Hart.
She married Stanley Corbin May 5, 1943 in Augusta. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Mac of Augusta; a daughter, Marcia Bevins of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Orville Hart of Augusta, and three grandchildren.

Marion C. Newby died in Wichita
Retired electrician Marion C. Newby, 74, Wichita, father of Maurice Newby of Augusta, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at the West Side Christian Church. Rev. David McCord and Jim Allison will officiate. Buria will be in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
A memorial has been established with the church.
He was born March 7, 1912 in Neodesha to James Enoch and Christena Elizabeth Briles Newby.
He married Emogene “Jean” McAllister. She survives.
He was a retired International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers electrician.
Other survivors include a stepson, Richard D. Gilchrist, stepdaughter, Betty Jean Black, both of Wichita; brother, Bernard of Neodesha; sister, Hazel Nelson of Fredonia; 16 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.

Maude Hazen, 81, Eureka, sister of Raymond Winn of Augusta, died Tuesday at the Medicalodge of Eureka.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eureka. Rev. Gilbert Daniel will officiate and burial will in the Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka.
She was born Nov. 2, 1905 in Eureka to Elwin and Mabel Paulson Winn.
She married R.A. “Jack” Hazen in Emporia on Jan. 17, 1924. He survives.
She was a member of the Eureka Christian and Congregational Church.
Other survivors include brothers, Clarence of Rankin, Texas, Bill of Borger, Texas, Richard of Eureka, David of Hamilton; sisters, Virginia DeWitt of Whitewater, Mae Gaines of El Dorado and Martha Collins of Riviera Beach, Fla.

Rena Grace Henry, 87, rural Towanda, died today at her home.

She was born Nov. 2, 1899 in Wells County, Indiana, to James and Annie Holloway Yarger.
She married Floyd Neal Henry May 22, 1920 in Leon. He preceded her in death in 1979.
Survivors include daughters, Naomi M. Hufman of Towanda and Anna Bell and Mary Ellen Henry, both of the home; brother, Willard A. Yarger of Hoisington; sisters, Bertha Slothower of Ellsworth and Edith Reeves of Great Bend; two grandchildren; four great-granddaughters and four step-great-grandchildren.
