Leonard Denny died Wednesday
Leonard W. Denny, 91, Carlsbad, N.M., father of Larry Denny of Augusta, died Wednesday.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Bram Funeral Home in Maysville, Mo.
He was a retired Beech Aircraft Corp. employee.
Other survivors include sons, Paul of Carlsbad, Duane of Wichita, Darrell of Kansas City, Kan.; daughter, Rowena Burroughs of Wichita; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Virginia Foreman died in Wichita
Virginia Gladys Foreman, 63, Wichita, formerly of Augusta, died Saturday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church in Wichita. Rev. Harold Mullet will officiate and burial will be in the Cumberland Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the church.
She was born March 31, 1923 in Augusta to Richard and Jennie Morefield Fulk.
She married Charles Foreman on Feb. 7, 1945 in St. John. He survives.
Mrs. Foreman was a secretary of St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church in Wichita before she retired. She was also a member of the church.
Other survivors include a daughter, Charlene Foreman of Wichita; brothers, Loren Fulk and Donald Fulk, both of Hillsboro; sisters, Alice Zuniga of Toronto, Freida Alice Renfro of Hesston and Lois Auxier of Hutchinson, and two grandchildren, Bill Carter and Bradley Carter.
The Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mabel Johnson died Thursday
Mabel Johnson, 95, Canton, sister of Ethel Ripper of Augusta, died Thursday at Shiloh Manor Nursing Home in Canton.
Her funeral was at 10 a.m. today at the Olson’s Mortuary in Canton. Bishop Jack Bruner officiated and burial was in the Canton Township Cemetery.
The family suggest contributions be sent to the donor’s favorite charity.
She was born April 15,1891 in Canton to Alexander Paul Louis and Mary Jane Hart Schulz.
She married Charles DeLoff Johnson June 5, 1912. He preceded her in death in 1928.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saint. Other survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Sawyer of McPherson; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Zeta E. Cook died at 87
Zeta E. Cook, 87, Wichita, formerly of rural Augusta, died Saturday at the Wichita Regency Health Care Center.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Quiring Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Don Franklin will officiate and burial will be in the Andover Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 3, 1899 in Kansas to Jess R. and Nellie Newberry Boxley.
She married Raymond R. Cook. He preceded her in death Dec. 2, 1966.
Survivors include a son, Eugene “Gene” Cook of Wichita; sisters, Opal Grimley and Berdeam Shufelberger, both of Ponca City, Okla.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Clara Anna Huster died in Oklahoma
Clara Anna Huster, 75, Newkirk, Okla., mother of Anna Kunz of Douglass, died Saturday.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Newkirk.
A memorial has been established with the Leukemia Foundation.
Other survivors include sons, Ernest, Vernon, Jim, Kenneth, Jeery, all of Newkirk; brothers, Bernard Behara of Ponca City, Okla., John Behara of Newkirk; sisters, Edna Schuchman of Arkansas City, Dorothy Sheik of Newkirk; 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Dean L. Gray died Sunday
Dean L. Gray, 83, Winfield, father of Willis Gray of Augusta, died Sunday at a hospital in Winfield.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Miles Memorial Chapel in Winfield. Rev. Georg Kemp will officiate and burial will be in the Maple City cemetery.
He was born Nov. 20. 1903 in Medford, Okla., to Arthur Washington and Jessie Foss Gray.
He married Audine Brown March 28, 1928 in Oswego. She survives.
Mr. Gray was a retired farmer and stockman.
Other survivors include sons, Roy of Hominy, Okla., Eddie of Hoisington, Benny Paul of Winfield; daughters, Ruby Cook, Patricia Proctor, both of Hominy, Betty Callahan, Rosemary Floyd, both of Liberal, Barbara Bialecki of Wichita; 26 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association.
Zilpha Long died Sunday
Zilpha Long, 83, Wichita, died Sunday at Woodlawn Nursing Home in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wichita Park Cemetery. Ron Sloan will officiate.
She was born Nov. 8, 1903 in Brewster to John Christopher and Joe Highland England.
She married Bill Long who preceded her in death in 1970.
Mrs. Long was a member of the Fairview Christian Church.
Survivors include a niece, Virginia Cain of Wichita and a nephew, W.R. Crain of Augusta.
