Jack Collins, Sr. died Feb. 3 at 55
Jack Lee Collins, Sr., 55, Chuluota, Fla., brother of Pat Kufahl of Augusta, died Feb. 3.
His funeral was Feb. 6 at the First Baptist Church in Oviedo, Fla. Burial was in the Olviedo Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with the First Baptist Church of Oviedo building fund and the American Heart Association.
He was retired from the Air Force and was a mail carrier.
Mr. Collins was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Omaha, Neb.
Other survivors include his wife, Darlene; daughters, Marsha Cellio of Yonkers, N.Y., Kim Lowe, Nancy Collins of Chuluota; a son, Jack Lee Jr., of Chuluota; mother, Mrs. Neven Collins of Leon; sisters, Mary Lou Saxon of Tooele, Utah, Carolyn McMillen of Towanda.

Willie Hiebert died Monday
Willie W. Hiebert, 65, Newton, brother of Rev. Ernest Hiebert of Augusta, died Monday at his home.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Peterson Funeral Home in Newton. Dr. George Miller will officiate and burial will be Restlawn Gardens of Memory.
A memorial has been established with the Immanuel Baptist Church.
He was born June 29, 1921 in Hillsboro to Abraham P. and Minnie Kohlman Hiebert,
He married Betty Robinson May 12, 1946 in Peabody. She survives.
Mr. Hiebert was a retired Newton Public Schools custodian.
Other survivors include sons, Timothy, Wesley, a daughter, Donna, all of Newton; brothers, Milton of Rozel, Dean of Towanda, Vernon of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters, Bertha Peacock of Wells-ville, Dorothy Neighbors of Royal, Ark., Martha Guhr of Potwin, and six grandchildren.

Floyd I. Burden died in Wichita
Floyd Ivan Burden, 65, 1201 Money, died yesterday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Leon, Kan., cemetery. Rev. Burl Allison Jr. will officiate.
He was born Jan. 4, 1922 in Riverdale to William S. and Rhoda Ellen Crews Burden.
He married June Dodson Nov. 23, 1946 in Wichita. She survives.
Mr. Burden was a retired Boeing Military Aircraft Company employee. He was a member of the Augusta Veterans of Foreign Wars and had served in the military during World War II.
Other survivors include a son, Stephen of Haysville; daughters, Barbara Schmidt of Leon, Cathye Ades of El Dorado and Beckye Rimer of Grand Forks, S.D.; brothers, Robert of Fairview, Utah, Levi of Benton, Cleo of Douglass, Verlyn of Leon and Dean of Augusta; sisters, Eva May Moser of Wichita, Esther Schoup of Udall, Mary Yeager of Belle Plain and Maudie Watkins of Oliver Springs, Term.; 11 grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
A grandson preceded him in death.

Irene Weaver died at 90
Irene Weaver, 90, Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Leon, died Tuesday at her home.
Her funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kirby Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado. Rev. Wayne Sharp will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
She was born July 14, 1896 in Nebraska to Ed and Zula Steinhoff.
She married Ralph R. Weaver Nov. 6, 1912 in Wichita. He preceded her in death July 31, 1966.
Survivors include daughters, Elizabeth A. Folks, Juanita A. Kelleher, both of Phoenix, and two grandchildren.

‘Mick‘Gibson died Saturday
Josephine M. "Mick" Gibson, 73, Hutchinson, sister of Inez Paul of Augusta, died Saturday at the hospital in Hutchinson.
A memorial service was at 11 a.m. today at the First Congregational Church. Rev. Richard D. Liles officiated. There was a private graveside service this afternoon at Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born May 20, 1913 in Osawatomie to Alpheus and Burch Brown Cron.
She married Hollis B. Gibson July 10, 1932 in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in 1966.
Other survivors include sons, Michael of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Gregg of San Aneslmo, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
