Sister Dies In Missouri
Mable Bootjer, 78, Branson, Mo., sister of G.E. Tornquist of Augusta, died May 7 in Branson.
Her service was at the Branson United Methodist Church Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Branson cemetery.
She was born Jan. 21, 1904 in Iron Mountain, Mich., Gus Tor nquist and Hilma Olson.
She married Martin Bootjer. He preceded her in death in 1970.
Other survivors include daughters, Betty Matthews of Oskaloosa, Iowa, and, Kay Marie Whitmore of Davenport, Iowa; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

H.J. Jasper Dies At 86
Herman Jackson Jasper, 86, Route 2, died Saturday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Amos Williams will officiate and burial will be in the Kuster Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 25, 1895 in Buffalo, Mo., to Mr. and Mrs. Will Jasper.
He married Bertha Turner in 1943 in Buffalo. She survives.
He was a retired Beech Aircraft Co. employee. He served in the military during World War I. He was a Christian.
Other survivors include three step sons, Melvin Swigert of Wichita, Glendon Mizer of Lebanon, Mo., and Charles C.

F.R. Collins Dies At 82
Fred Ross Collins, 82, rural Leon, died Saturday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His service was at 2 p.m. today at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Bacon officiated and burial was in the Brownlow Cemetery of rural Leon.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
He was born Oct. 30, 1899 in Carmel, Ind., to Frank and Minerva Garnett Collins.
He marrried Neven E. Mock Sept. 3, 1927 in Wichita. She survives.
He was a retired farmer and stone mason.
Other survivors include a son, Jack L. Collins of Ovieda, Fla.; three daughters, Pat Kufahl of Augusta, Carolyn McMillen of Edmond, Okla., and Mary Lou Saxon of Tooele, Utah; three sisters, Clara Ramsey, Elizabeth Collins and Garnett Bennett, all of Wichita; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Swigert of Augusta; a brother, Jess Jasper of Buffalo, Mo., and five grandchildren.

Lois McCombs Dies At 64
Lois Lavell McCombs, 64, rural Augusta, mother of Bernice Beach of Augusta, died May 6 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Her service was May 10 at the Whisenhunt Funeral Home in Tulsa, Okla.
McCombs was bom Jan. 6, 1918 in Darnell, Ark. She lived in Augusta since 1969.
She is survived by two other daughters, Louise Arnold of Wichita and Kay Justice of Healsburg, Calif.; a sister, Lola McCombs; three brothers, Lonnie, Lloyd and Howard Furr and her mother, Dora Furr, all of Tulsa; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Luther McCombs and a son, L.B. McCombs, preceded her in death.

Girl Stillborn
Stephanie Ann Lewis, daughter of Merle and Patricia Lewis of Augusta, was stillborn Monday at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita. Father James Eatough will officiate.
Other survivors include two brothers, Thomas and James,
and a sister, Brianna Lewis.
