Infant Falley girl died in Wichitan
Emily Ashley Falley, nine-month-old daughter of Mark and Patricia Ann Falley, died today at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
She was born May 15, 1986 in El Dorado to Mark L. and Patricia Ann Bish Falley.
Other survivors include a sister, Jasmine of the home; grandparents, Faye Shull of Augusta, Lew Falley of Manhattan, Ann Bannin of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Vernon Bish of Niceville, Fla.; great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith of
Boise, Idaho and Goldie Falley of Manhattan, and a great-grandmother, Rachel Rauch of Ransom.

Infant McMurty boy dead at AMCI today
Johnny Joseph McMurtry III, three-month-old son of Johnny J. and Kimberly McMurtry II of 509 School, was pronounced dead at the Augusta Medical Complex this morning.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.

Wayne Cunningham died at 56 Friday
Wayne Cunningham, 56, Albuquerque, N.M., brother of Doris Fulk of Augusta, died Friday after a short illness at the Veteran’s Hospital in Albuqerque.
His funeral will be tomorrow in Albuquerque. i
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
Other survivors include daughters, Brenda and Betty, both of Albuquerque; mother, Ruth Wells of Emporia; sisters, Myrtle Edwards of Branson, Mo., Velma Colston of Newalla, Okla., Wilma Spencer of Belton, Mo., LaVenia Terry of Blue Springs, Mo.; brother, Walter Cunningham of Gridley; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a brother-in-law Floyd Fulk of Augusta.

J.J. McMurtry III rites were today
A funeral service for Johnny James McMurtry III, three-month-old son of Johnny and Kimberlie McMurtry II of 509 School, was at 3:30 p.m. today at the First United Methodist church in Augusta.
Rev. Harold Kieler officiated and burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the church.
The infant boy died Friday at his home.
He was born Nov. 18, 1986 in Wichita to Johnny J. and Kimberly McMurtry II.
Besides his parents, he leaves grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kuker of Augusta, John Schak of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. John McMurtry of Wichita; great grandparents, Austin Bristow of Augusta, and Cricket McMurtry of Paris, Ark., and great-great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller of Valley Center.
The Dunsford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Harold Schneider rites are tomorrow
Harold Fredrick Schneider, 79, Douglass, died Thursday at St Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral will be at 2 p m tomorrow at the Christ Lutheran Church in Augusta. Rev. Gaylen Burow will officiate and burial will be in the Richland Cemetery in rural Douglass.
A memorial has been established with the church.
He was born March 24, 1907 in Durham to Peter Jacob and Katherine Schmidt Schneider.
He married LeVada A. Schweda on Aug. 6, 1930, in Fredonia. She survives.
Mr. Schneider was a retired Boeing Military Aircraft employee and a dairy farmer. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.
Other survivors include a son,
Dr. Howard Schneider of Wellington; a daughter, Betty Overbey of Douglass; stepmother, Amelia Nightengale of Newton; brothers, Lynn Snyder of Wichita and Harvey Snyder of Douglass; sisters, Alice Maxwell of Chanute and Vyrnia Hopkins of Emporia; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass is in charge of arrangements.

Paul W. Phillips rites were today
Paul William Phillips, 52, 1514 Moyle, died Friday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Wichita.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. today at the Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Jon Grissom and Rev. Paul Martin officiated.
He was born June 25, 1934 in LaCygne to Williams W. and Shirley Whipple Phillips.
He married Sharon Eileen Lamb Aug. 30,1958 in Augusta. She survives.
Mr. Phillips was retired from the Air Force. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Other survivors include a daughter, Linda Sue Freeman of Germany, and a sister, Lois Ann Aubrey of Las Cruces, N.M.
The Dunsford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Geneva Scovell died in Meade
Geneva L. Scovell, 82, Meade, mother of Lloyd D. Scovell of Augusta, died Sunday at a Mead hospital.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mead Community Church. Pastor Bob DeLong will officiate and burial will be in the cemetery at Protection.
She was born May 22, 1904, in Pollock, Mo., to Marion and Dora M. Crouse Morland.
She married Lloyd F. Scovell May 19, 1929 in Protection. He died Dec. 20, 1974.
Other survivors include a daughter, Doris Sawyers of Meade; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Mead is in charge of arrangements.
