Glenna Hill died at 100
Glenna Hill, 100, Benton, grandmother of Joanne Patrick of Augusta, died Sunday at the Augusta Medical Complex Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Benton Christian Church. Rev. Floyd Hansen will officiate and burial will be in the Benton, Kan., cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Benton Christian Church.
She was born Feb. 20, 1887, in Virgil to Melville and Elizabeth Hale Mallicoat.
She married Leo Hill on Oct. 1, 1913, in Benton. He preceded her in death.
She had been a teacher and a partner in Hill’s Grocery and General Merchandise Store in
Benton.
Other survivors include a son, Merton of Benton; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Lucille Rosenstiel died Sunday at 78
Lucille Rosenstiel, 78, Derby, sister of Wilda Myers of Augusta, died Sunday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the South City Southern Baptist Church in Wichita. Rev. Joe Morgan and Rev. John White will officiate and burial will be in the El Paso Cemetery in Derby.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
She was born March 22, 1908 in Halleyville, Okla., to Abe and Wilda Lake Dye.
She married Raymond L. Rosenstiel June 9, 1928. He preceded her in death in 1980.
She was a member of the South City Southern Baptist Church.
Other survivors include sons, Bob of Seattle, Wash., Jack of Derby, Mike, Gene, both of Wichita; daughters, Thelma Thacker of Wichita, Sara Whee-lock of Derby; brothers, Abe Dye, Glen Dye, both of Wichita, Bill Dye of Hutchinson, Max Dye of Salina; sisters, Wilma Morton, Florence Price, both of St. Petersburg, Fla., Della Dull of Wichita; 34 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
Smith Mortuary in Derby is in charge of arrangements.

Rites were today for Corey Seely
James Corey Seely, 16-year-old great-grandson of Hazel Baldwin of Augusta, died Saturday from injuries suffered in pedestrian-vehicle accident in Wichita.
His funeral was at 10:30 a.m. today at the Brookside United Methodist Church in Wichita Rev. Rexine Bryant officiated and burial was in the White Chapel Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the church.
He was born Feb. 14, 1971 in Fort Bragg, N.C. to Ricky and Valorie Lemon Seely.
He attended Derby High School where he was in the Kansas 61st AFGROTC. He was also a member of the Brookside United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include his mother, Valorie Seely at home; father, Ricky Seely of Wichita; brother, Justin at home; grandparents, Almeta Lemon, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Sizemore, all of Wichita; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Walker of Sherman; great-great-grandmother, Gladys Beeman of McCune, and an aunt, Jaunita Deichman of Augusta.

Florence Teresa Cody, 72, 1700 Dearborn, died yesterday at
the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m.
tomorrow at the Dunsford Funer-al Home. Rev. George Goudie will officiate. There,, will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday at the Covington Cemetery in Covington, Okla, She was born Aug. 8, 1914, in Tulsa, Okla., to John I. and Mary Frances Ring Riggs.
She married Leonard Allen Cody on July 3, 1941 in Enid, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1961.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Corcoran of Augusta; Earl Correll of Covington; a sister, Dorothy Freeman of Columbus, Ohio, and two granddaughters, Ann and Amy.
