William R. Moore died in Wichita
William R. Moore, 78, Mulvane, father of Miriam Dennett of Augusta, died Sunday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Senter-Smith Mortuary in Mulvane. Rev. Don Kessler will officiate and burial will in the Council Hill Cemetery in Peck.
A memorial has been established with the Mulvane United Methodist Church.
He was born Jan. 8, 1909, in Potwin to Reuben and Edith Taylor Moore.
He married Wanda L. Pickens on June 25, 1932, in Wichita. She survives.
Mr. Moore was a retired Beech Aircraft Co. quality technician.
He was a Methodist and a member of the Methodist Men’s Club and Local 733 I.A.M.
Other survivors include sons, James of Mulvane, Howard of Wichita; daughter, Willa Wulz of Derby; brothers, Glenn of Sacramento, Calif., Lloyd, Alva, both of Independence; sisters, Opal Harlan of Madison, Violet Tallman of Reece, Ruth Turner, Veda Balzer, both of Potwin; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Senter-Smith Mortuary in Mulvane is in charge of arrangements.
Oral R. Edwards died Sunday at 87
Oral W. Edwards, 87, El Dorado, father of Anna Densmore of Augusta, died Sunday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado. Rev. Jim Spon will officiate and burial will be in the Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas Foundation of the Blind.
He was born May 16, 1899, in Oak Valley near Elk City to William and May Smith Edwards.
He married Mamie Nichols on July 22, 1924 in Newton. She preceded him in death in 1977.
Mr. Edwards was a retired Union Tank Car inspector.
Other survivors include a son, William Lee of El Dorado; daughter, Lila LaFebre of El Dorado; brother, John of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Marion Shough of Benton, Mary Welton of Wichita, Melissa Luttrell of Middleton, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchidren and two great-greatgrandchildren.

Ramon Furrow died at 45 today
Ramon Furrow, 45, Parsons, son of Emery and Virginia Furrow of 1249 Hooper Drive, died today at a Parson’s hospital.
Services are pending.
He was a brakeman for the Katy Railroad in Parsons.
Other survivors include his wife, Carolyn of the home; sons, Chuck and Pat, both of Lawton, Okla.; sister, Judy Muse of Springfield, Mo., and a brother, Lonnie Furrow of Augusta.

Estill D. Elliott died in Texas
Estill D. Elliott, 79, Corpus Christi, Texas, brother of Jay Elliott, Wayne Elliott and Lora May Pennington and son of Ina Elliott, all of Augusta, died yesterday in Corpus Christi.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Burl Allison Jr. will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 11, 1907, in Gordon to Dan W. and Ina Snadgrass Elliott.
He married Velma Florene Bowyer on May 30, 1927, in Bloomington. She survives.
Mr. Elliott was a retired Texaco employee and a Mason.
Other survivors include sons, Daniel of Dallas, Texas, James and A.T. Ogg of Corpus Christi; daughter, Virginia Wicks of Phoenix, Ariz., and four grandchildren.

Freida Klein died yesterday
Freida Klein, Belpre, mother of Mary Leonard of Augusta, died yesterday.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard Church in Belpre.
Other survivors include daughters, Lorraine Thummel of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Freida Clower of Belpre.
