Mary A. Dilts died Saturday
Mary A. Dilts, 92, Leon, died Saturday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Leon Christian Church. Rev. Art Wilson will officiate and burial will be in the Leon Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Leon Christian Church.
She was born July 22, 1894, in Dixson, Neb., to Harry and Hester Richards Richardson.
She married John Glassburner on Feb. 14, 1915. He preceded her in death March, 1928.
On Aug. 30, 1929, she married Lewis Dilts. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1969.
Survivors include sons, Harry Glassburner of Anderson, Mo., Ray Dilts of El Dorado, Rolla Dilts of Leon; daughters, Hazel Waner of LaJunta, Colo., Opal Wilcox of Wichita, Ruth Hartgrove of Mulvane; brother, Clifford Richardson of Great Bend; sister, Maude Lyons of Shattuc, I11.; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Two sons, a daughter, and a granddaughter, preceded her in death.
Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado is in charge of arrangements.
Loren G. Lunsford died in Wichita
Loren Glenn Lunsford, 78, Wichita, brother of Audley Lunsford of Augusta, died Sunday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Smith Mortuary in Derby. Bill Murray with the Elpyco Church of Christ will officiate and burial will be in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens
in Wichita.
He was born July 24, 1908, in Keighley, to Francis and Margaret Dungey Lunsford.
He married Viola Ilene on Sept. 28, 1924, in El Dorado. She survives.
He was a retired Boeing Military Airplane Co. employee.
Other survivors include a son, William F. of Wichita; daughter, Beverly Ann Darling of Derby; seven grandchildren; a step-grandchild and five great-grandchildren.
Emma Jane Gilmour died Sunday at 57
Emma Jane Gilmour, 57, Wichita, mother of Clair L. Gilmour of Augusta, died Sunday at her home.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Culbertson-Smith Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Roy Johnson will officiate and burial will be in the Wichita Park Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with Messiah Baptist Church and the Hospice of Wichita.
She was born Jan. 17, 1930, in Wichita, to Clair M. and Grace Carpenter Cathey.
Mrs. Gilmour was a Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. frame attendant.
Other survivors include daughters, Linda Kay Huehl of Lincoln, Debra Jane Ketcherside, Patricia Ann Gilmour, both of Wichita; parents, Clair M. and Grace Cathey, sisters, Claribel Callison, Melvadine Rosehamer, all of Wichita, Ruby Allmond of Derby and six grandchildren.
Victor V. Clark rites tomorrow
Funeral services for Victor Vance Clark, 78, Arkansas City, formerly of Augusta, will be at 2
p.m. tomorrow at the St. James Church in Augusta. Father Thomas Stroot will officiate and burial will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Arkansas City.
The rosary will be at 7 o’clock tonight at the Dunsford Funeral Home.
He died April 30 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
He was a retired Mobil Oil Refinery employee and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Arkansas City.
He was born Aug. 1, 1908, in Conway Springs to Vance and Hermins Konecny Clark.
He married Helen Elizabeth Sharp on Oct. 14, 1939, in Wichita. She survives.
Other survivors include sons, Bob of Arkansas City, Kermit of Lawrence, Norman of Beaulah, N.D.; daughters, Joan Tiller of Houston, Texas, Juanita Hall of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three brothers; a sister; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
David F. Ash died in Wichita
David F. Ash, 57, Wichita, brother of Donald D. Ash of Augusta, died Friday at his home.
His funeral will be Saturday, May 9, at the Broadway Mortuary in Wichita. Dr. Frank Winfrey will officiate and burial will be in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.
He was born April 14, 1930, in Tulsa, Okla., to James B. and Minnie Newsome Ash.
He married Marilyn Albright on June 27, 1976. She survives.
Mr. Ash was an oil field superintendent and was a member of the Kansas Independent Oil Association.
Other survivors include sons, David Preston Vaughn of San Diego, Calif., Kevin Ash of Charleston, S.C., Robin Vaughn of St.
Simmons, Ga.; brothers, Wiley of Fort Worth, Texas, Gene A. of Virginia Beach, Va.; sisters, Margie Keneipp of Wichita, Joyce Norris of Fredonia; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
