Gertrude E. Mabry rites were today
Gertrude Emma Mabry, 89, Augusta, died Friday at the Augusta Medical Complex Long Term Care Unit.
Her funeral was at 11 a.m. today at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Harold Keiler officiated and burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the First United Methodist Church building fund.
She was born Oct. 19,1897, in Arkansas City, to Henry and Elizabeth Henderson Peck.
She married George Roy Mabry on Jan9,1918, in Wichita. He preceded her in death in 1973.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, George J. Jr. of Augusta; daughters, Donna Putnam of Augusta, Doris Chilcott of Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Fredrick Moser rites were Friday
Fredrick Ervin Moser, 78, Wichita, brother-in-law of Ernest Jackson and Mrs. W. Moser of Augusta, died Tuesday at the Halstead Hospital in Halstead.
His funeral was at 3 p.m. Friday at the Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Earl Marvin officiated and burial was in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
A memorial has been established with the Park City Church of the Nazarene.
He was born Jan. 2, 1909, in Windom, to Robert and Bertha Dossett Moser.
He married Tina Jackson on May 27, 1930 in Wichita. She survives.
Mr. Moser’s parents operated the former Moser Grocery Store in Augusta.
He was a retired machinist at the Coleman Co. in Wichita.
Other survivors include sons, Neil of Wichita and Robert of Mesa, Ariz.; daughers, Loretta James of Halstead, Sue Bright of Sedgwick; sister, Comaletta Wazada of Spokanne, Wash.; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
