Raymond Belford died yesterday
Raymond James Belford, 77, Wichita, brother of Alfred Belford of Augusta, died yesteday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Moser will officiate. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Benton, Kan., cemetery.
Friends may visit between 4 and 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born Nov. 4, 1909, in Bruno Township to James F. and Ida Stephens Belford.
He married Evelyn L. Brooks on June 7, 1947, in Wichita. She survives.
Mr. Belford was a retired export shipping clerk for Card-well Manufacturing Co. He served in the military during World War II and was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church in Wichita.
Other survivors include sisters, Lucile Ades of Leon, Nellie Colburn of Towanda and Sarah Walther of Haysville.

Vivian M. Jones dies in Wichita
Vivian May Jones, 87, Wichita, mother of Archie Adams Jr. of Augusta, died Friday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral was at 2 p.m. today at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Axmann officiated and burial was in the Lakeview Cemetery in Wichita.
She was born July 1, 1899, in Wichita, to Albert and Nellie Blain Baker.
She married Archie Adams Sr. He preceded her in death in 1964.
She married Harold H. Jones Sr. He survives.
For 42 years, she was the former co-owner of the Archie Adams Grocery Store in Wichita.
Mrs. Jones was a past director of the East Side Bank of Wichita and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was also Past Worthy Matron of Illus Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star 433 in Wichita.
Other survivors include stepson, Harold Jones Jr. of Denver, Colo.; stepdaughter, Joanne Pray of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Viola Graves of Spearman, Texas; a grandson, Archie R. Adams III of Willow Springs, Mo.; a granddaughter, Vickie L. Lovett of
Brentwood, Tenn.; a great grandson and three great-granddaughters.
A memorial has been established with the First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Neva N. Warner dies in Winfield
Neva N. Warner, 89, Douglass, died Sunday at a Winfield hospital.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Douglass First Christian Church. Rev. Dan Ferguson will officiate and burial will be in the Douglass Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the church.
She was born May 25, 1898, in Douglass, to Joseph and Della Hamilton Creed.
She married Lloyd G. Warner on May 7, 1918, in Winfield. He preceded her in death in 1985.
Mrs. Warner was a member of the Douglass Christian Church and the PEO Sisterhood.
Survivors include daughter, Frances Maxwell of Rock, two grandchilden and two great-grandchildren.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass is in charge of arrangements.
Graveside service for Charles Williams
Charles H. Williams, 88, Winfield, formerly of Douglass, died Friday at a nursing home in Winfield.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. today at the Douglass Cemetery. Rev. Jonnie Alter officiated.
He was born Nov. 26, 1898, in Galena, Mo., to Ed and Elizabeth Bilyeu Williams.
He married Eula Essie Wilson on March 22, 1924. She preceded him in death on March 29, 1974.
Mr. Williams was a retired farm laborer.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Gurnee of Winfield; brothers, Ray of Purdy, Mo., Lawrence of Berona, Mo., Jim of Grenola; sister, Eva Doane of Victorville, Calif.; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
