Adah G. Hain funeral Saturday
Adah G. Hain, 99, Wichita, mother of Garnet McGregor of Leon, died Wednesday at a nursing home in Wichita.
Her funeral was at 4 p.m. Saturday at the University Friends Church. Dr. David Kingery officiate and burial was in the Wichita Park Cemetery.
A memorial has been establisheded with the University Friends Church.
She was born Jan. 25, 1888, in Houston, Ohio, to Sam and Clara Botkin Penrod.
She married Carl Hain. He preceded her in death in 1956.
Mrs. Hain was a retired registered nurse.
Other survivors include a son, Lyle of Wichita; daughter, Claradene Blackburn of Trenton, Mo.; sister, Mary Barrington of Wichita; seven grandhcildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Downing & Lahey Mortuary in Wichita was in charge of arrangements.
Charles W. Foreman funeral Wednesday
Charles Wilbur Foreman, 67, Wichita, died Sunday, June 7, at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral service will be 11 o’clock Wednesday morning, June 10, at St. Luke Presbyterian Church in Wichita. Rev. Steve Washburn will officiate. Burial will be in the Cumberland Cemetery of rural Augusta.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements for this retired Coleman Co. employee.
He was born Sept. 9, 1919 in Illinois as a son of Charles and Hazel Byerly Foreman.
On Feb. 7, 1945, he married the former Virginia Gladys Fulk. She preceded him in death in January of this year.
Foreman leaves a daughter, Charlene Carter of Wichita; two brothers, Ralph Foreman of El Dorado and Delmar Foreman of Yelm, Wash., and two grandsons, Bill and Bradley Carter.
A memorial to St. Luke Presbyterian Church has been established.
Loren Keethler funeral Tuesday
H. Loren Keethler, 84, 609 School Street, died Saturday at his home.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Axmann of the First Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 29, 1902, in rural Andover to John Alex and Rosetta Chase Keethler.
He married Helen Henderson on May 9, 1923, in El Dorado. She survives.
Mr. Keethler was reared on a farm southwest of Augusta and lived in Augusta all of his married life. After more than 50 years, he retired as self-employed businessman and cattleman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Other survivors include a son, Bill, and daughters, Norma Broomfield, Donna Duncan, Karen White, all of Augusta, and Peggy Cheek of Bartlesville, Okla.; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A grandson preceded him in death.
A memorial has been established with the First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Leonard P. Larson service at Clearwater
Leonard P. Larson, 77, Wichita, stepfather of Dorothy Ann Goar of Augusta, died Monday, June 1.
A private service was Thursday in the Clearwater, Kan., cemetery.
He was a retired grain and turkey farmer.
Other survivors include a stepson, Robert Baker, address unavailable; three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
