Mary Gudenkauf rosary today
Mary Elizabeth Mandeville Gudenkauf, 94, of Augusta, died Saturday, June 27.
Rosaries will be 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Topeka. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow at Assumption Catholic Church, Topeka. Burial will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow in Baileyville Cemetery.
Gudenkauf was born May 24, 1893 to Thomas and Ellen Burke Mandeville in Bigelow, Mo.
On Jan. 14, 1919, she and Henry C. Gudenkauf were married in Seneca. He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1971.
She was a homemaker and member of the American War Dead Auxiliary and the Altar Socicety at Assumption Catholic Church.
Survivors include: sons, Lawrence of Wichita, John of Clarksville, Tenn., Richard of Augusta, David of Ozawkie;
daughters, Mrs. Carvan Smith, Mrs. Joe Peterson, both of Topeka; 34 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the Mary E. Gudenkauf Memorial Fund, P.O. 264, Augusta, and the Assumption Catholic Church.
Noel F. Greenburg died Wednesday
Noel F. Greenburg, 60, stepfather of Butch Britain of Douglass, died Wednesday, June 24.
His funeral service was 3 p.m. today at Webb & Rodrick Funeral Home in Independence.
Greenburg was born Nov. 3, 1926 to Herbert and Anna Brand Greenburg in Longton.
On Oct. 15, 1982 he and Nancy Anglen were married in Miami, Okla.
He was a truck driver and member of the Highland Park Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge and teamsters.
In addition to his stepson, Butch, survivors include: wife, Nancy; stepsons, Tony Spalding, Scott Britain, Don Britain, all of Independence; stepdaughters, Linda Kirchoff, Kathy Henderson, both of Kanss City, Mo., Mary Vest of Marshall, Mo., Sandy Dye of Pittsburg; mother, Emma Greenburg of Howard; brothers, James of Bartlesville, Okla., Herbert Jr. of Spokane, Wash.; sisters, Rosalie McDonald of Howard, Margie Welch, Joan Newkirk, both of Elk City, Stella Myra Pickett of Wichita; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.

Rose Mary Hoskins, 60, Augusta, died Saturday, June 27, at Wesley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dunsford Funeral Home, 201 E. Fifth, Augusta. Rev. George Bever will officiate.
Hoskins was born May 9, 1927 to Frank Gonzales and Lupe Arritola in Marion.
She was a retired Boeing Military Airplane Co. employee.
Survivors include: sons, Randall M. of Emporia; Roger D. of Farmington, N.M.; Robert D. of Manhattan; brother, Robert Dean Gonzales of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Esther Mayes of Wichita; three grandchildren.
Her daughter, Karen Rose preceded her in death.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.

Clyde L. Lee funeral tomorrow
Clyde L. Lee, 86, Cedar Vale, brother of Jim Lee of Douglass, died Sunday, June 28.
His service will be 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Assembly of God Church. Rev. Chris Anderson is officiating and burial will be in Newkirk, Okla, cemetery. Wheeler Funeral Home in Cedar Vale has the arrangements.
Lee was born Nov. 15, 1900, to Charles Lee and Lillie Mae Luckenbill in Greeley County, Neb.
On March 7, 1923, he married Beatrice May Condit in Newkirk.
Lee was a retired farmer and retired Phillips Petroleum employee. He was a member of the Cedarvale Assembly of God Church and the Shidler Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his brother, Jim of Douglass, survivors include: wife, Beatrice; sons, Warren of Moore, Okla., Robert of Hobbs, N.M.; daughters, Dixie King of Cedar Vale; brothers, Harold of La Verne, Calif., Carl of Aransas Pass, Texas; sister, Ruth Snellen of Wichita; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Assembly of God Church.

Iris Claudine (Garrett) Smith, 73, of Augusta, died Tuesday, June 30.
Her funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel, 201 East Fifth. Rev. Larry Blythe will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Smith was born Nov. 2, 1913, to Earl Garrett and Florence Wright in Burlington.
On Feb. 6, 1935, she and Glenn L. Smith were married in Osage City. He preceded her in death in 1976.
Smith was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah Witnesses.
Her survivors include: sons, Loel of Wichita; daughters, Glenda Smith of Augusta, Lindola Long of Yates Center, Schlene Davis of Augusta, Leesa Walker of El Dorado; brothers, Loren and Eldon Garrett, both of Burlington; sisters, Lorraine Mox of Ottawa, Winnie Hazen of LeRoy, Faye Presba of Hawthorne, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
