Monday, July 13, 1987
Roberta J. Fisher died Friday
Roberta J. (Letterman) Fisher, 56, of Wichita, homemaker, mother of Regina Ramsey of Douglass, died Friday, July 10 at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Her funeral service was 1 p.m. today at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Wichita, with Rev. Barry Wichert officiating.
Fisher was born March 17, 1931 to Clifford Franklin Letter-man and Lucille Hicks in Aurora, Mo.
On Aug. 29, 1948, she and Edgar Fisher were married in Wichita.
In addition to her daughter, survivors include: husband, Edgar; daughters, Pamela Johnson, Vanessa McFarland, both of Wichita; father, Clifford Letter-man of Wichita; sisters, Faye Morris, Peggy Wichert, both of Clinton, Okla; three grandchildren.
A memorial has been established the American Heart Association.

Ivan Cooper services Wednesday
Ivan Cooper, 81, of rural Cassoday, farmer and stockman, father of Harold Cooper of Augusta, died Saturday, July 11 at home.
His funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Cassoday United Methodist Church and burial will be in the Cassoday Cemetery. Kirby-Morris Funeral Home has the arrangements.
Cooper was born Jan. 5, 1906 to B.D. Booper and Maryella Spangler in Cassoday.
On June 21, 1930, he and Lena Blanche Griggs were married in El Dorado. She preceded him in death on May 16, 1981.
In addition to his son, Harold, his survivors include: son, Lewis Cooper of El Dorado; daughter, Mrs. Mary Unruh of Emporia; brother, Paul Cooper of El Dorado; sisters, Anna Parker of Cassoday, Alta Cornwell of El Dorado; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Cassoday United Methodist Church.

Brian Patrick Little died Thursday
Brian Patrick Little, son of Charles and Lesa Little, Belle Plaine, great-grandson of Edith Conrad of Augusta, was stillborn Thursday, July 9.
His funeral service was 11 a.m. today at Belle Plaine Cemetery. Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home had the arrangements.
In addition to his great-grandmother here, survivors include: sister, Libby at home; grandparents, Melvin and Carole of Topeka;. John and Luetta Haas of Benton; great-grandmother, Bertha Widick of Benton.

Evelyne E. Ray died in Oklahoma
Evelyne E. Ray, 78, of Hulbert, Okla., mother of Charles Ray of Augusta, died Sunday July 12.
Her funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah, Okla, and burial will be in the Moody Cemetery at Moody, Okla.
Ray was born May 22, 1909 to Morton and Nellie Gassett at Bridgeport, Okla..
On May 18, 1927, she and Floyd Ray were married in Newkirk, Okla. He preceded her in death.
In addition to her son Charles, survivors include: sons, Virgil of San Antonio, Bobby of Georgia, Tom of Hulbert, Okla.; daughters, Erma McKenzie of Tahlequah, Okla., Carolyn Locher of Johnstown, Pa., Joy Blair of Hulbert, Okla.; brother, Tor Gassett of Rose, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Velva Ruth Price services tomorrow
Velva Ruth (Bolte) Price, 68, of Augusta, homemaker, died Saturday, July 11 at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. tomorrow at Dunsford Funeral Home, 201 East Fifth with Rev. Burl Allison, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Lyons (Kans.) Cemetery.
Price was born June 17, 1919 to Charles Bolte ands Lucy Vining in Derring, Kans.
Her survivors include: son, Larry Price of Latham, daughters, Connie Brown of Augusta, Joyce Craft of Edmond, Okla.; brother, Everett Bolte of Arkansas City; sisters, Pauline Sheeks of Claflin, Lil Phelps of Odessa, Texas; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

Elmer C. Philbrick services tomorrow
Elmer C. Philbrick, 76, Hutchinson, father of Bennie Hall of Augusta, died Monday, July 13.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. tomorrow at Johnson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Philbrick was born Oct. 27, 1910 to Arley Philbrick and Grace Sebring in Athol, Kan.
In 1946 he and Lillie Winder were married in Smith Center.
Philbrick was a retired Hutchinson Foundry and Steel Co. laborer and army veteran of World War H.
In addition to his son, Bennie, survivors include: wife, Lillie, sons, Douglas of Hutchinson, Billy Freeman of Cabot, Ark., Bill Thiesen of Salina; daughter, Joyce Reinert of Newton, brothers, Arnold of Nickerson, Floyd, Charles, William, all of Phillipsburg; sisters, Esther Frase of Kensington, Florence Brent of Springfield, Mo., Lucy Gale of Pueblo, Colo. 11 grandchildren.
