Sister Of
Augustan Dies At 76
Marie Stockman, 76, Wichita, sister Augustan Lawrence Knebler, died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
A rosary is scheduled for 8 p.m. tonight at Flanagan Hunt Mortuary in Wichita. The funeral service is set for 3:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wichita. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Wichita.
Born in Benton on July 9, 1905, Mrs. Stockman was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Delbert of Fair Oaks, Calif.; a daughter, Merdella Mesker of Tulsa; two other brothers, Leo and Richard Knebler, both of Wichita; sister, Irene Morrison of Wichita; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22, in Detz Funeral Home in Helena, Mont., for Albert Sidney Adair, 84, brother of Laura Adair Cox, Augusta.
Albert Adair died at Fort Harrison in Helena where he was hospitalized after a long illness.
He was bom Jan. 13, 1898, in Armourdale, Mo., to Asa Rogers Adair and Emma May Keyser Adair. After leaving the University of Kansas and service in the Coast Guard, he settled in Helena and ranched near
Broadview, Mont.
Survivors, in addition to his sister, Mrs. Cox, are: his wife, Genevieve Squires Adair, Helena and Broadview; a brother, William Wallace Adair, Tecumseh; a sister: Ruth Adair Dyer, Lawrence; four nieces, three nephews, many grandnieces, grand-nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.

Ex-Augustan Dies At 93
Elma Robison, 93, Glendale, Calif., mother of Ebert Robison of Augusta, died there yesterday.
Graveside services are pending in Santa Monica, Calif. Pierce Brothers Mortuary there is in charge of arrangements.
She was bom Nov. 27, 1888 at Glen Elder to Mr. and Mrs. John Ross.
She married Wash Robison July 4, 1908 near Kiowa. He preceded her in death in 1953.
She was a homemaker in Augusta from 1925 to 1945. She was also a member of the Nazarene Church here.
Survivors include four other sons, Hobert Robison of Long Beach, Calif., Owen Robison of Redbluff, Calif., Wilton Robison and Marion Robison, both of Redding, Calif; a brother, John Perry Ross of Roseburg Ore.; three sisters, Juenetta Vorhees of Winfield, Elsa King, Wenatchee, Wash., and Sybil Allizer of Kiowa; numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A son, Acie Robison, preceded her in death.
A.B. Teegarden Dies At 85
Anna Barbara Teegarden, 85, 2100 N. Ohio, died Friday at the Walnut Valley Manor nursing home.
Her service will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Arnold Studtmann of Christ Lutheran Church will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was bom Feb. 7, 1897 in Rose Hill to Frank and Elizabeth Reyer Miller.
She married James David Teegarden Dec. 31, 1919 in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in 1980.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Teegarden of Augusta and Floyd Teegarden of Kingman; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Bobby Lee Barnes, 41, Bushton, son of E.H. “Jim” and Inez Barnes of Leon, died Saturday at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
His service was at 2 p.m. today at the Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Rev. Jack Williams officiated and burial was in the Atlanta, Kan.,
cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
He was born April 6, 1941 in Rosemount, Minn., to Jim and Inez Satterlee Barnes.
Other survivors include a son, Bobby Barnes Jr., of Wichita; three brothers, James L. Barnes of Dodge City, Lawrence Barnes of Ellinwood and Larry Barnes of Lewisburg, Pa.; two sisters, Louise Cruth of LaFayette, La., and Kathryn Barnes of Liberal.
Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado was in charge of arrangements.
