Father Dies In Wichita
Wichita, father of Darlinne Ver-milyea of Douglass, died Monday at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington.
Other survivors include his wife, Ruth Dwyer; a son, Dan Dwyer of Derby; another daughter, Linda Bandy of Wichita; brothers, Charles Dwyer and Ralph Dwyer, both of Wichita, Leo Dwyer of Wellington, and sisters, Bertha Ranabarger, Irene Mastellar, both of Wichita, Sibyl Whipple of Wichita, Betty Ellis of Loveland, Ohio.
The Frank Funeral Home in Wellington is in charge of arrangements.

W.M. Murdick Dies At 90
Wilma Mina Murdick, 90, 1155 Euclid, died June 3 at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her service will be at 2 p.m. June 5 at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Axmann of First Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was bom Oct. 6, 1891 in Clarksdale, Mo., to Howard and Cora Coon Bucklew.
She married Arthur Jacobs in 1911. He preceded her in death in 1913.
She married Rolla Murdick Sept. 21, 1915 in Delphos. He preceded her in death in 1973.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, June Martin, Augusta; two sisters, Cecile Hart of Garfield, Texas and Ollie Parker of Salina; two grandchildren, Judy Haynes of Coldwater and Karen Flynn of Huntington Beach, Calif.; eight great-grandsons and a great-great-grandchild.

Anne Doyle Dies At 80
Anne Doyle, 80, Douglass, died yesterday at the Newton Memorial Hospital in Winfield.
Her funeral service will be at 10 o’clock Saturday morning, June 5, at the Douglass United Methodist Church with Rev. John Martin, church pastor, officiating and burial in the Douglass Cemetery.
The retired school teacher was born March 7, 1902 at Douglass to Ed and Agnes Kirby Doyle.
She was a member of the Douglass United Methodist Church and a 50-year member in Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sisters: Alberta Doyle of Douglass and Maggie Higdon of Eugene, Ore.

The name of a deceased son, Corliss Jacobs, was not given in yesterday’s writeup. Mrs. Murdick died June 3.

Ronald David Ades, 32, El Dorado, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Ades of Augusta, died Saturday at his home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walnut Valley Memorial Park in El Dorado. Rev. Richard Axmann of the First Baptist Church will officiate.
He was bom April 2, 1950 in Wichita to Clifford and Josephine Babb Ades.
He was a truck driver. He graduated from Augusta High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Other survivors include sons, Andy, Craig, Tony, all of Leon; a daughter, Angela, of Leon; a sister, Peggy, of Denver.
The Kirby-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services for Ronald D. Ades, 32, El Dorado, were at 2 p.m. today at the Walnut Valley Memorial Park in El Dorado. Ades died Saturday at his home.
His service was incorrectly given as Thursday in yesterday’s Gazette.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Ades of Augusta.
He was bom April 2, 1950 in Wichita to Clifford and Josephine Babb Ades.
He was a truck driver. He graduated from Augusta High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Besides his parents, survivors include sons, Andy, Craig and Tony, all of Leon; a daughter, Angela, of Leon, and a sister, Peggy, of Denver.
