Brother Dies In Texas
Russell H. Jack, 85, Marlin, Texas, brother of Beulah Tucker of Augusta, died Friday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marlin.
His service was at 2 p.m. today at the Graves-Baird chapel in Sedan. Rev. Tim Musgrove officiated and burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Chautauqua.
He was born Sept. 14, 1896 in Chautauqua to Armor and Carrie Bales Jack.
He was a retired oil field driller.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War I.
Another survivor is his brother, Ralph Jack of Chautauqua.
Sister Dies In Wichita
Margaret M. O’Reilly, 64, Wichita, sister of Dick and Leo Lipscomb, both of Augusta, died Friday at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Her service was at 10 a.m. today at the Christ the King Catholic Church. Father Vincent J. Eck officiated and burial was in the Resurrection Cemetery in Wichita.
She was bom Nov. 4, 1917 in El Dorado to Herbert and Grace Smith Lipscomb.
Other survivors include sons, William, Michael, Chris, Paul Jr., Daniel, all of Wichita; a daughter, Margaret Dietrich of Wichita, a sister, Louise Baker of Wichita, and six grandchildren.

Bob Dennett Dies At 42
Robert Dennett, 42, Independence, Mo., formerly of Augusta, died Monday while undergoing heart surgery at Houston, Texas.
His service will be Friday in Independence.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Kurtess and Kevin, and a daughter, Kristin, all of Independence. _

Rites Set For Dennett
Services for Bob Dennett, 42, Independence, Mo., have been set for 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Carson Funeral Home in Independence.
Dennett, a former Augustan, died Monday during heart surgery at Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Kurtess and Kevin, and a daughter, Kristin, all of Independence.

A.R. Levering Dies At 91
Allen R. Levering, 91, Douglass, died there Thursday.
His service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Douglass United Methodist Church. Rev. John Martin will officiate. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Benton, Kan., cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass United Methodist Church.
He was bom March 4, 1891 in Benton to Benton and Emeline Melick Levering.
He married Faye Leedom in Augusta Sept. 26, 1923. She survies.
He was a retired farmer. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Douglass United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include a son, Hoy Levering of Douglass; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
