Fred Frogge funeral Monday
Fred Frogge, 90, former stock-man of Douglass died Thursday, Feb. 4, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Services will be 2 o’clock Monday afternoon at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado and burial will be in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
He was born Sept. 26, 1897 to James Bine and Barzella Kennett Frogge of Monticello, Ky.
On Feb. 1, 1933 he married Amelia Elithebeth Berg of El Dorado.
Survivors are wife, Amelia; daugthers, Mildred Holden of El Dorado and Virginia Brown of Beaumont, Texas; sisters, Bessie Burchfield of Albany, Ky and Dessie Gunnell of Ocala, Fla., nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
A memorial has been established with the Cumberland Community Church of rural Augusta. Funeral arrangements were made by Carlsons Funeral Home of El Dorado.

Wygle dies at 69
El Dorado homemaker Melba L. Wygle, 69, stepmother of Mary Ann Wright of Leon, died Saturday, Feb. 6, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El ado. Dr. Ed Franklin will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery of El Dorado.
She was born Oct. 26, 1918 to Ross and Maude Moats Lee in Towanda.
Other survivors are husband, Eddie; daughter, Patricia Lee Thomas of San Diego; sister, Mable Bush of Wichita; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

MARY J. LEONARD ...rites at St. James
Mary J. Leonard died on Sunday
Augusta homemaker Mary Josephine Leonard, 65, 2203 Ohio, died Sunday, Feb. 7, at HCA Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Her mass of resurrection will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at St. James Catholic Church. A Rosary will be said 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, also at St. James Catholic Church. Father Thomas Stroot will officiate the mass of the resurrection and burial will be in Belpre Cemetery.
She was born June 7, 1922 to George Klein and Fred Spacil in Belpre.
On Aug. 30, 1941, she was married to Edwin Leonard. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, St. James Altar Society and the Outlook Club.
Survivors are husband, Edwin; sons, Gerald of Hoyt, Norman of Manchester, Conn, Darrell of Hixson, Tenn; daughter, Carolyn Nutter of Lowell, Ark; sisters, Freda Clowers of Belpre, Lorraine Thumme of Bethany, Okla and eight grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the Butler County Hospice Inc. and Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.

Okel Krieglstein funeral today
Andover homemaker Okel Canterbury Krieglstein, 90, died Thursday, Feb. 4, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Her funeral and burial were today at Mission Chapel Mausoleum of Wichita. Rev Faye Graves will officiate.
She was born Feb. 20, 1896 to Joseph Perry and Sarah Jane Baker Canterbury in Green City, Mo.
In 1939 she married Frank Krieglstein in Los Angeles.
Survivors are daughters, Theda, Vivian Burchette, both of Andover; brother, R.T. Canterbury of Chillicothe, Mo.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were made by Carlson Funeral of El Dorado.

Brother dies in hospital
Retired welder Stacy Wesley Wolf, 82, of Arkansas City, brother of Leo Wesley, Augusta, died Friday, Feb. 5, at Arkansas City Memorial Hospital in Arkansas City.
His funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Rindt-Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Home in Arkansas City. Rev. Gilbert Danials will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 26, 1905 to Andrew Jackson and Jessie Tooman Wolf.
On July 28, 1933, he married Mildred M. Kelter in Springfield, Mo.
Survivors are, daughter, Diane Spielman of Arkansas City; sister, Lottie Crain of Arkansas City; two grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Central Christian Church Building Fund of Arkansas City.
