Currier funeral was he today
Homemaker Etta Bellin Currier, 87, formerly of Medford, Okla., died Saturday, Feb. 6, at Blackwell Nursing Home.
The funeral was today at the Hills Funeral Home in Medford, Okla., and burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery at Medford.
She was born Nov. 8, 1900 to Charles and Susie Bellin of Medford. Her husband Fred and two children preceded her in death.
Survivors are sons, Willis of Augusta, Charles of Blackwell, Okla; daughters, Eunice Jones of Newton, Iowa, Inez Stebbins of Blackwell, Okla; sisters, Joan Smith of Wichita, Velma Pittman of Blackwell, Okla; brothers, Ed Bellin of Blackwell, Ray Bellin of Tonkawa, Okla.; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
Grandchildren include Debbie, Joshua, and Ashleigh Luper of rural Augusta and Don Currier of El Dorado.

Donald E. Conner dies at home
Retired general laborer Donald Eugene Conner, 60, 234 Main, died Friday, Feb. 5, at his home.
His funeral was held today at the Day Cemetery, Ava, Mo.
He was born Sept. 24, 1927 to Eugene Otto Conner and Viva Inez Cole in Seymour, Mo.
Conner was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
He leaves four brothers, Bobby of Augusta, Lloyd of Tulsa Okla., William and Jim of Peoria, I11., and two sisters, Mary Miller of Augusta and Stella Freeman of Big Pine, Calif.
Funeral arrangements were made by Dunsford Funeral Home.

Henry S. Brown dies in Hutchinson
Dairy farmer Henry S. Brown, 70, of Partridge, and brother of Wilda Christopher of Augusta died Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Menonite Friendship Manor in Hutchinson.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Osenbaugh Funeral Home of Hutchinson. Burial will be in Partridge Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 31, 1917 to Wayne L. Brown and Sophie Giertz.
On June 6, 1941, he married Ella Balder.
Survivors are wife, Ella; sons, Phillip of El Dorado, Ark., Charles H. of Great Bend; daughter
Peggy MacArthur of Salem, Ore.;
brothers, William L. of Kingman, Edward H. of Fresno, Calif.; sisters, Ruth Wood of Sturkie, Ark., Frances Carson of Council
Grove, Betty Steger of St. Petersburg, Fla. and six grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Mennonite Disaster Relief Fund, Habitat for Humanity and Partridge Community Church.

Stephen R. Slade died Monday at 73
Retired accountant and antique store proprietor Stephen Ronald Slade, 73, brother of Albert Slade of Augusta, died Monday, Feb. 8.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
Survivors are wife, Onnallee; son, Richard of Overland Park daughter, Kendra Cochenour of Daytona Beach, Fla.; sister, Ruth Hermann of Boise, Idaho, and two grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Funeral arrangements are to be made by Cochran Funeral Home of Wichita.

Leo L. Osborne dies at home
Retired Getty Oil craftsman Leo L. Osborne, 63, 421 W. Clark, Augusta died Monday, Feb. 8, at his home.
His funeral will be 2. p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11, at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado and burial will be in Towanda Cemetery.
He was born Oct.7, 1924 to Leslie and Jean Wayburn Osborne in Pryor, Okla.
On May 17, 1943 he married Betty R. Young in Jay, Okla. He is a World War II veteran. Osborne served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization in El Dorado.
Survivors are wife, Betty; son, Randall of Towanda; daughter, Margaret Davis of Landcaster, Calif; and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one brother, Loyd and a grandchild, Aubrey Osborne.
A memorial has been established with the Towanda Library. Funeral arrangements were made by Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado.

Charlie M. Adams funeral on Thursday
Former Augusta resident Charlie M. Adams of Wichita died Monday, Feb. 8, at HCA Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
A funeral service for this maintenance employee of Wichita State University will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the University United Methodist Church in Wichita. Rev. Loren Marler will officiate and burial will be in the Old Mission Cemetery.
Adams was born Oct. 31, 1901 in Hope as a son of George William and Hattie Dakins Adams.
He married the former Beulah Leona Kisner. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David E., Charles R., and Archie L., all of Wichita; a brother, Arnold A. Adams, also of Wichita; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials to University United Methodist Church have been suggested by the family.
The Old Mission Mortuary of Wichita is in charge of arrangements.
