Towanda resident dies in Andover
Betty Jo Weddle, 50, of Towanda died Thursday, Feb. 26, at Andover Care Center.
Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 27, at Towanda Baptist Church. Rev. C.M. Howell will officiate the services and burial will be in Towanda Cemetery. Viewing will be at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
She was born Feb. 16, 1938 to Charles and Susie Pearl King in Goodrich.
On Sept. 1, 1956 she married Harold Rhea Weddle in Amsterdam, Mo.
Survivors are husband, Charles; sons, Harold and Steve of Andover, and two grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.

Mosses attend funeral
Dick and Ann Moss attended funeral services for his cousin Fred Bennett in Ceder Vale, Wednesday, Feb. 24
Burial was in Mount Vernon Cemetery southeast of Atlanta.

Fuller dies at 69
Carl Virgil Fuller, 69 of San Antonio, Texas died Jan. 8 at his home.
He was born May 23, 1918 to Virgil and Abigail Trostle Fuller in Kiowa.
In 1940 he married Virginia Lola McVay of Augusta, she preceded him in death in 1985. He is also preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
He graduated from Kiowa High School in 1936 and enlisted in the U.S. Army and was assigned with the 315th infantry regiment. He recieved his commision as an officer in 1943. The World War II veteran served in the Normandy Invasion, Rhineland, northern France and central Europe campaigns.
Fuller was decorated with the bronze star, French Croix de Guerra ribbon with palm, European, African and Middle East campaign ribbons and the world war victory metal.
Survivors are sons Robert and Gerald of San Antonio, Texas.

Retired Boeing worker passes on
Raymond Finkenbinder, 77, father of Karen Webb of Andover and retired Babson Brothers Equipment owner died Thursday, Feb. 25, at Huchinson Hospital.
Services were held today at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita. Rev. Borger of Wichita and Rev. Evans of Huchinson officiated the services and burial was in Lakeview Garden Cemetery in Wichita.
Survivors include wife, Clarice; son Ken of Richfield, Idaho; sister, Delight Williams of Hereford, Texas and six grandchildren.

Sims dies at 75
Beatrice Norris Sims, 75, retired salesclerk of Wichita and mother of Gene W. Sims of Augusta died Wednesday, Feb. 24 at her home in Wichita.
Services were Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Central Church of Christ with burial in the Resthaven Garden of Memories in Wichita.
She was born April 26, 1912 to James Monroe Norris and Nora Ellen Finney in Naizen.
Survivors include son, Jerry L. of Honolulu; daughters, Mary E. Williams of Wintzville, Mo.; brother, Lyman Norris of Ponca City, Okla., and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Christ Villa Nursing Center. Resthaven Mortuary furnished the funeral arrangements.

Tannhill dies in Medical Complex
William S. Tannhill, 87, retired Boeing worker, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Augusta Medical Complex in Augusta.
A graveside service was held today in Pawhauska City Cemetery of Pawhauska, Okla. Rev. Tom Lee officiated the services.
He was born March 31, 1900 in Osage Nation Indian Territory to John T. Tannhill and Sarah Kelly.
Survivors are sons, William of Pearl City, Hawaii, Paul of Coeur d’ Aline, Idaho, L.R. of Grand Prairie, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were made by Johnsons Funeral Home of Pawauska, Okla.

Willing services held today
Lula (Richardson) Willing, 93, homemaker of Augusta, died Friday, Feb. 26 at Walnut Valley Nursing Home of Augusta.
A graveside service was held today at Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Burl Allison Jr. officiating the services.
She was born March 25, 1894, to Parker Robertson and Esther Richardson in Augusta.
On Jan. 27, 1916, she married Lawrence Giles Willing in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in 1956 in Augusta.
Survivors are sons, Harold of Augusta, Donald of Wichita; daughters, Helen Fulton of Derby, Shirley Wiles of Augusta; stepdaughter, Bea House of Douglass; brothers Eugene Richardson. Kenneth Richardson, both of Cheney; sisters, Emma Berline of Caldwell, Gladys Decker of Dallas, Dorothy Herndon of Cheney, Thelma Slocum of Burbank, Calif., Elenora Eshnaur of Bentonville, Ark,; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were made by Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
