C. Reiserer Dies At 89
Clara D. Reiserer, 89, El Dorado, formerly of Leon, died Thursday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Her service was at 11 a.m. today at the Leon United Methodist Church. Rev. Jack Williams officiated and burial was in the Leon Cemetery.
She was born March 19, 1893 in Leon to Bob and Millie Cloyd Snodgrass.
She married Joe Reiserer April 26, 1911 in Leon. He preceded her in death Dec. 12, 1976.
She was a member of the Leon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons, Joseph E. Reiserer of North Canton, Ohio, Jerry L. Reiserer and Victor S. Reiserer, both of Wichita, Jim D. Reiserer of El Dorado; sisters, Mable Dun and Thelma Smith, both of Wichita, and Dorothy Mobley of Leon; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
C.S. Spalsbury Dies In Lawrence
Clark S. Spalsbury, 74, Lawrence, brother of Margaret Spalsbury of Augusta, died Saturday at a Lawrence hospital.
He was cremated. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence. Dr. Homer D. Henderson, Pastor George Owens and Pastor Gary D. Bryant will officiate.
A memorial has been established with the Plymouth Congregational Church, 925 Vermont Street, Lawrence, Kan., 66044.
He was born May 28, 1908 in Wellpinit, Wash., to Ross L. and Gertrude Stotler Spalsbury.
He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1941. He attended Lawrence Business College. He received a teaching certificate from Emporia State Teachers College. He was a retired civil service administrator.

Edward Dill Dies At 74
Edward Dill, 74, 1821 Moyle, died yesterday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Christian Church. Rev. Richard Bacon will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with the Shrine Crippled Children Fund, the First Christian Church and the Heart Fund.
He was born July 27, 1907 in Oblong, Ill., to John and Elizabeth Irvine Dill.
Dill was a retired Mobil employee. He served in the military service during World War II. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Wichita Consistory, and American Legion.
Survivors include a brother, Kenneth Dill, Augusta; sisters, Elizabeth Plymate, Springfield, Mo., and Pricilla Copenhaver, Bartlesville, Okla.; cousins, Anna Boyd and Erma Boyd, both of Augusta and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
Service Saturday For Former Pastor
Rev. George Wambsganss, former pastor of Augusta’s Lakecrest Bible Baptist Church, died Sunday at Bremerton, Wash.
Burial will be Saturday following a 10 a.m. service at the Fredonia (Kan.) Bible Baptist Church.
Rev. Wambsganss was pastor of the Westside Bible Baptist Church at Bremerton at the time of his death. He had been active in the Kansas Bible Baptist organization and preached at Emporia and Independence as well as Augusta a number of years ago.

Mother Dies In Iowa
Alvena Casper, 70, rural El Dorado, mother of Alvin “Dan” Casper of Augusta, died Monday at a hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.
Her service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church in El Dorado. Father Dave Cushing will officiate and burial will be in the Sunset Lawn Cemetery in El Dorado.
The rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home.
She was born Sept. 23, 1911 in Willowdale, Kan., to Ignatious and Madgleni Wagner Goetz.
She married Ted A. Casper Oct. 23, 1940 in Willowdale. He preceded her in death June 5, 1974.
She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and had attended St. James Catholic Church in Augusta. She was a member of the St. John Altar Society and the El Dorado Travel Club.
Survivors include two other sons, Joseph V. Casper of Elin-wood and David R. Casper of Fredonia; five brothers, Eugene Goetz and Phillip Goetz, both of Kingman; Vincent Goetz and Anthony Goetz, both of Zenda, and Paul Goetz of San Antonio, Texas; four sisters, Yvonne Beat of Kingman, Cristina Bohrer of Zenda, Ann Cole of Great Bend and Cecillia Schoenecker of Akron, Colo; and six grandchildren.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
