Zetta Webster dies in Holton
Zetta Webster, 78, of Holton, died Wednesday, May 18, at the Holton Hospital. She was a former resident of Augusta.
A memorial service for Webster will be 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Holton. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Latham Cemetery.
She was married to Harvey Webster on Dec. 19, 1928. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Her survivors include four sons, James of Leon, William, Tom and John, all of rural Holton; sisters, Mabel Elder of Augusta, Myrtle Brenner of Howard, Audrey Bare of Palmdale, Calif.; several grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.

Junia Peckham dies at 101, service Monday
Junia Etta Peckham, 101, of Augusta, died Thursday, May 19, at the Walnut Valley Nursing Home in Augusta. A memorial service and burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at Elmwood Mausoleum. Rev. Burl Allison will officiate.
She was born Dec. 11, 1886, to John Calvin and Mary Daily Taylor in Douglass.
On Jan. 16, 1918, she was married to Arthur Roy Peckham in Harrisonville, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1944.
Peckham, a retired insurance agent for the Peckham Insurance Agency, was a member of Business & Professional Women, Daughters of American Colonists, Soroptimist Club, and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also a member of the First Christian Church of Augusta.
In addition to her son, Taylor Peckham of Augusta, she leaves three grandchildren.
The Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of arrangements.

Robert L. Rawlings died in El Dorado
Robert Lee Rawlings, 61, of El Dorado, died Thursday, May 19, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
The funerall will be 11 a.m. Monday in the First Christian Church of El Dorado with Rev. Stan Seymour officiating. Masonic services will be conducted by Patmos Masonic Lodge at the church. Burial will follow at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
He was born June 26, 1926 in Augusta to William and Lula Snook Rawlings.
He married Virginia Lawrence on March 29, 1947 in El Dorado.
Rawlings retired in 1983 from Southwestern Bell Telephone, where he had worked for more than 36 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Signal Corps. He was a member of the Patmos Masonic Lodge, the Moose Lodge, the VFW in El Dorado and the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Virginia of El Dorado; a son, John of El Dorado; daughters Gerry Mortson of Duncan, Okla., and Marcia Haskins, of Plevna; a brother, Nevelyn of Augusta; sisters Veda Mitchell of Augusta, Velma Kentner of Arizona City, Ariz., and Violet Jones of Newhall, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
His parents and two brother preceded him in death. Memorials have been suggested to the Cardiac Care Unit of Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, El Dorado, has the arrangements.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. Father Thomas Stroot will officiate.
She was born Jan. 5, 1935, to Reginald Fenemore and Elsie May Pearce in Gloucester, England. On June 18, 1952, she married Adrian Dodson in Little Rock, Ark.
Dodson, a homemaker, is survived by her husband, Adrian; sons, Calvin and Alan, both of Wichita; daughter, Gail Elliott of Wichita; brothers, Robert Aurther and William Patrick of Fenemore, England; sisters, May Hughey of Okeechobee, Fla., Joan Spear of St. Cloud, Fla., Barb Cheang of Winnipeg, Canada, Betty Carroll of Kansas City, Carol Cooper of Maybelle, Colo., Sylvia Bennet of Camden Point, Mo.

Charles Ross, 40 died at St. Francis
Charles William Ross, 40, of Augusta, died Tuesday, May 24, 1988, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.
Services will be Friday, May 27, at 11 a.m. at Dunsford Chapel, the Rev. George Goudie officiating. Internment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Karen; two sons, David, of Wagnor, Okla, and Bryan of the home; a daughter, Candace of the home; a brother, Kenneth Ross, of Augusta; sisters Joyce Thomas of Towanda, Shirley Harding of Augusta; Kathy Sims of Andover, and Carol Jordan of Augusta; and his parents William and Charlotte Ross of Augusta.
He was a pipe fitter for Aime Contracting Company. He served in the United States Armed Forces in Vietnam.
He was born Nov. 2, 1947 to Williams and Charolott Ross in Indianola, Iowa. On Feb. 9, 1980, he married Karen Souder, in Great Bend.
