Francis Stuhlmann died in Colorado
Frances Jeane Stuhlmann, 65, of Denver, died in Denver on May 7, 1988. The Stuhlmann family resided in Augusta in the early 1960s.
Services were held Wednesday, May 11, at the Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, the Rev. C. Mack Louvorn, officiating.
She was born June 4, 1922, in Fairfield, Ill. She is survived by her husband Walter, five children and grandchildren.
Concordia man’s service is Thursday
Victor W. Stanford, 87, of Concordia, died Monday, May 23, 1988, at St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia. He was the father of Robert Stanford of Augusta.
His memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home Chapel in Concordia. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia.
Stanford was born Jan. 22, 1901, in Greenleaf.
In addition to his son, he is survived by two daughters, Letha Hill of Waterville, Gertrude Thorman of Russell; two grand-children; three great-grandchildren.

Former Augustan died in Florida
Max Holmes, 76, of Ocala, Fla., died Sunday, April 10, 1988. The Holmes family resided in Augusta during the 1970s. Services were held in Ocala, April 13.
Survivors include his wife Carrie; two sons, Charles and John; two daughters, Judy and Holly; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Augustan’s sister died Thursday
Ruby O. (Ross) Aubuchon, 81, died Thursday, May 26, 1988. She was the sister of William Ross of Augusta.
Her service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Aubuchon, a homemaker, is survived by a son, Walter Taylor of El Dorado; brothers, Charles Ross of Amarillo, Texas, Lloyd Ross, Raymond Ross, both of El Dorado; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society. Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.

Neil Brooks McLaughlin, 77, of Augusta, died Thursday, May 25, 1988, at Augusta Medical Complex Inc. He was a retired Boeing Aircraft worker.
Services are Tuesday, May 31, at 2 p.m. at Dunsford Chapel. The Rev. George Goudie officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 24, 1910 to John Smith McLaughlin and Belle Maude Brown, in Denver.
Survivors include: sons John V. of Augusta, Donald R. of Helena, Mont., Ronald J. of Snohomish, Wash., and Mickey L. of Arkansas City; sisters Naomi Brown Phillips of Grinnell and Betty Waldon of Hutchinson; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

McLaughlin's funeral service was at 2 p.m. today, May 31, at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
McLaughlin leaves four sons, John of Augusta, Donald of Helena, Mont., Ronald of Snohomish, Wash., Mickey of Arkansas City; sisters, Naomi Phillips of Grinell, Betty Waldon of Hutchinson; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
