Father Dies In Arkansas
Claude Doss, 72, Springdale, Ark., father of Ethel Aitchison of Augusta, died July 14 at a hospital there.
His services were Saturday at Mountain Top Assembly of God and burial was in the Belt Cemetery in Ozark, Ark. Rev. Alvin Hunter officiate and Rev. George Willis.
The retired farmer was born Aug. 4, 1906 in Delaney, Ark.
He married Vernie Boen Oct. 12, 1930 in Ozark. She survives.
Survivors include four sons, Calvin Doss of Renton, Wash., James Doss of Ozark, Otis Doss of Sprindale and Curtis Doss of the home; another daughter, Dena Holmes of Combs, Ark.; a brother, Carrie Doss of Huntington Valley, Calif.; sister, Marie McAlister of Ozark.; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Father Dies In Wichita
Donald D. Duntz, 62, El Dorado, father of Barbara Ladd of Leon, died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
His service was at 2 p.m. today at the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado. Rev. William Longman officiated and burial was at Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the First Christian Church or the Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital, both in El Dorado.
He was born April 27, 1920 in Bellaire to G.P. and Sadie Niles Duntz.
He married Marguerite Stoller Oct. 20, 1940 in Smith Center. She survives.
He was retired owner of D&M Auto Salvage.
He served with the U.S. Marines during World War II and was a member of the American Legion.
Other survivors include three sons, Larry Duntz of Wichita, Gene Duntz and Kent Duntz, both of El Dorado; another daughter, Joyce Garman of El Dorado; three brothers, Melvin Duntz and Lyle Duntz, both of Smith Center, and Wayne Duntz of Franklin, Neb.; three sisters, Hazel Shupe of Lompoc, Calif., Alma Trimble of Torrance, Calif., and Rose Sutton of Wofferd Heights, Calif., and 12 grandchildren.
Brother Dies In Great Bend
Charles W. Gable, 86, Great Bend, brother of Edith White of Augusta, died Monday at a Great Bend hospital.
His service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Central Baptist Church in Great Bend. Rev. Verle Shoemaker and Rev. Dick Ogle will officiate and burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Great Bend.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
He was born April 9, 1896 at Roxbury to Charles C. and Kate Clough Gable.
He married Hazel Partington Aug. 11, 1915 in Chanute. She survives.
He was a retired DuBois Sand Co., employee and a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Other survivors include sons, K.D. Gable of Sterling, Harold Gable of Chase, R.D. Gable of Ellinwood and V.V. Gable of Brenham, Texas; daughters, Joyce White of Garfield, Gale Austin of Lamed, Fain Boley of Exeter, Texas, Shirlie Bower of Loveland, Colo., Mae Riedel of Gread Bend, Donna Graves of LaHarpe; another sister, Lottie Hendricks of Raymond; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
