Funeral services for Edward Dill, 74, who passed away suddenly at his home Monday, July 12, 1982 were held Thursday, July 15 in the First Christian Church with Rev. Richard Bacon officiating. Interment followed in the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home. Serving as casket bearers were Murray Marshall, Don Myers, A.D. Porter, Bill Provine, A. J. Torres and John Walworth.
Edward Dill, son of John Dill and Elizabeth Irvine Dill, was born July 27, 1907 in Oblong, Illinois and moved to Kansas with his parents in 1916. He was a 40-year retired Mobil employee. He served in the military during World War II, was a member of the First Christian Church and held membership in the Masonic Lodge, #74. Augusta, the Wichita Consistory and the American Legion.
Survivors include his twin sister, Elizabeth Plymate of Springfield, Missouri; his sister, Priscilla Copenhaver of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his brother, Kenneth Dill, Augusta; two cousins, Anna and Erma Boyd of the home; numerous nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents and three brothers, John, Murel and Tom.

Graveside Rites For Johnson
William Archie Johnson, 79, 331 East Fifth, died Friday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. today at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Burl Allison Jr. officiated.
He was born Jan. 26, 1903 in Canton, Mo., to William W. and Theresia Elzer Johnson.
He married Vera Soloman Cartee in Augusta Sept. 23, 1963. She survives.
He was a retired Railway Express employee, a member of the Wayland (Mo.) Blue Lodge Masons and the Consistory and Shrine in Salina.
Survivors include a stepson, Roy Cartee of Cisco, Texas; two brothers George H. Johnson and Robert L. Johnson, both of Canton, and two grandchildren.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta was in charge of arrangements.

Granddaughter Dies At 20
Aleisha Dawn Toliver, 20, granddaughter of Margaret Toliver of Augusta, died July 14 in San Francisco, Calif.
Her services were July 20 at the Mission Avenue Presbyterian Church in Spokane, Wa. Burial services were at Pines Cemetery in Spokane.
A memorial fund as been established. Funds may be sent to ALEISHA, in care of M.A. Toliver, E. 2515 S. Crescent, Spokane, Wash., 99207.
She was born Nov. 28, 1961 in Spokane. She graduated from Ferris High School in 1980.

L.D. Hensley Dies At 41
Larry D. Hensley, 41, Bothell, Wash., son of Grace L. Hensley and sister of Connie Coombes, both of Douglass, died Monday at Bothell.
His service was at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Greenland Funeral Home in Alderwood Manor, Wash.
He was born Dec. 21, 1940 in Wichita to Glenn and Grace L. Goodin Hensley.
He graduated from Douglass High School in 1958.
He married Jean Thomas in 1958 in Oklahoma. She survives.
He worked for the Boeing Military Aircraft Co., in Everett, Wash.
Other survivors include a son, Monte Hensley of the home; a daughter, Elizabeth Tanner of Seattle, Wash., and a brother, Marvin Hensley of Valley Center.
R.L. Binkley Dies At 91
Robert Lester Binkley, 91, Route 4, died today at the Augusta Medical Complex.
His service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Dunsford Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Nebergall will officiate and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the First Baptist Church.
He was born Oct. 19, 1890 in Missouri to William and Mary Alice Rhinehart Binkley.
He married Anna E. Fouts Dec. 28, 1910 in Ottawa. She preceded him in death in 1980.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Voth, Wichita and Helen Hayes of Stillwell; two brothers, Merrit Binkley of Kansas City, Mo., and Herman Binkley of Adrian, Mo.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
