Burial for Drouillard on Tuesday
Enid Vinita Drouillard, 68, of Augusta died Friday, Sept. 30, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery. Brother Guy Jensen and Brother Robert Guest will be officiating.
Enid was born to Marvin and Luvandah (Ralston) Turner on April 5, 1920 in Oklahoma.
She married John Glen Drouillard on April 9, 1938 in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Survivors include her son, Eddie of Augusta; daughters, Connie Lee of Augusta, Ruth Guest of Provo, Utah; brother, Kenneth Turner of Augusta; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

VanDeman of Douglass died Friday
Leota VanDeman, 82, of Douglass died Friday, Sept. 30, in Winfield.
Her services were today at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1906 in Douglass to Lewis Arthur DeWater and Jessie Ella (Heinz).
On Dec. 23, 1929 she married Harold VanDeman in El Dorado. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Survivors include three sons, John Harold of Schaumburg, Ill., Carlton Wayne of Phoenix, Ariz., Samuel Charles of Fenton, Mo.; brother, Charles of Douglass; sister, Beulah Bannon of Douglass; and six grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the Douglass Senior Citizens Center.

Services Tuesday for Leatherman
Kenneth G. Leatherman, 53, of Augusta died Saturday, Oct. 1.
Services will be Tuesday, Oct.
4, at 2:30 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Rev. Richard Box will officiate.
He was born on Dec. 17, 1934 in Omaha, Ark. to William and Adda (Gibson).
On July 21, 1958 he married Joy in Newkirk, Okla.
Survivors include his wife, Joy; daughters, Kathi, Kim both of Wichita; and one grandchild.
Memorials have been established with the American Heart Association.
Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado has the arrangements.
Former Augustan to be buried in Chanute
Ralph W. Hill, 86, of Buckner, Mo. and formerly of Augusta, died Sunday.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 3 p.m. in the Leanna Cemetery in Chanute.
There will be a visitation Wednesday from 1-2:30 p.m. at Johnson Chapel in Chanute.
On Dec. 22, 1901 he was born to Henry S. and Anna (Brickey) in Brumley, Mo.
He married Catherine Hurt on May 26, 1934 in Girard.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine; daughters Bobbie Polk of Blue Springs, Mo.; sister, Opha Morrow of St. Louis, Mo.; four half-brothers, Roy and Edison of Erie, Eddie of Parsons, Don of Miami, Okla.; half-sister, Wilsie Peters of Erie; three grand-children; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the First Christian Church of Buckner elevator fund.

Emma Kemper died Monday
Emma Marie Kemper, 100, of Augusta died Monday, Oct. 3.
Graveside services will be Friday morning at 10:30 in the Elmwood Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Burl Allison.
She was born on Jan. 26, 1888 in Butler County to Lorenzo Hinnen and Carolyn (Gaether).
Preceding her in death were her husband, James Ott Kemper; two sons, Clarence and Lonnie.
Survivors include her daughter-in-laws, Rhonda Kemper of Augusta, Dorothy Kemper of Artesia, N.M.; grandchildren, Sarah Hammond of Overland Park, and Joanne Van Winkle of Dexter, N.M.
Memorials have been established with Walnut Valley Manor.

Violet Moege burial Sunday
Violet C. Moege, 74, of Yates Center died Wednesday, Oct. 5.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. in the Blankenship Cemetery in Rosalia. Officiating will be Rev. Lillie Jane Dametz.
Violet was born on Dec. 5, 1913 to George Nicholas and Rosetta (Thompson) in Butler County.
On Dec. 24, 1931 Violet married Herman Robert Moege. He survives.
Other survivors include her brother, Harley B. Nicholas of Lyons; sisters, Lillian Bussett of Kellyville, Okla., Lydia Johnson of Anthony and Nellie May Borger of Newton.
