Fern Herndon died Sunday
Fern Herndon, 76, of Douglass died Sunday at William Newton Memorial Hospital in Winfield.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Douglass Cemetery. Rev. Dale Valentine will be officiating.
She was born July 24, 1912 in Douglass to Gideon and Alma Thompson Cline.
On July 22, 1940 she was united in marriage to William L. Herndon in Seymore, Mo.
Survivors include her husband, William; brother, Alvie Cline of Douglass; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Billie Lucille Brooner and Patricia Huddleston; one brother, one sister and her parents.
Memorials have been suggested to the Senior Center in Douglasss.
Miles Memorial Chapel in Winfield has the arrangements.

Gillum burial in Douglass
Ernest G. Gillum, 85, of Douglass and retired hardware sales clerk and repairman, died Sunday.
His services were today at the Richland Cemetery.
He was born on May 18, 1903 in Douglass to George Washington and Etta Mae Gillum.
Gillum, a member of the Douglass Masonic Lodge, is survived by his nieces, Wanda Spencer and LeEtta Miller, both of Douglass; nephews, Arthur and Carl Findley, both of Wichita.
Memorials have been established with the Medicalodge of Douglass.

Elisa Boman funeral is set
A funeral service for Elisa Donece Boman, who was killed in a traffic accident north of Augusta Sunday evening, will be 10 o’clock Thursday morning at the First Baptist Church in Leon.
Rev. Brad Cunningham and Rev. Randy Drake will coofficiate at the service and burial will be in the Leon Cemetery.
Elisa was born May 10, 1984 in Leon as a daughter of Jerry Lynn Boman and Julie Ann Pond Boman.
Survivors include a brother, Joshua M. Conner of the home; two sisters, Sarah and Jessica Boman, also of the home; grandparents, Gene and Ann Pond of Leon.
Memorials to the Boman family may be left at the First Baptist Church in Leon.

Walter Reinhart died Tuesday
Walter M. Reinhart, 76, of El Dorado died Tuesday.
His services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado with burial at ~et Lawn Cemetery.
Reinhart was born March 15,
1912 in Ford County to John W. and Edna (Hageman) Reinhart.
On Oct. 8, 1952 he was united in marriage to Frances Loree Pierce in Enid, Okla.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; two brothers, Myrel of Kremlin and Bill of El Dorado; sister, Frances Brown of San Francisco, Calif.; four step-grandchildren; three step-greatgrandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.

Augustan’s sister died Wednesday
Mary Elizabeth (Rollings) Kravitz, 73, of Wichita and sister of Charles Rollings of Augusta died Wednesday.
Her services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Mortuary.
Other survivors, besides her brother from here, include her husband, Joseph A.; son, Joseph A. II of Wichita; brother Glen Rollings of Interlochen, Fla.; sisters Hazel Stackely of El Dorado, Geneva Owen of Interlochen; and two grandchildren.

Infant died at Wesley Hospital
Infant Samantha Lynn Bishop, the daughter of Timothy and Tammy Lynn Norris Bishop of Augusta, died Thursday.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Elmwood Cemetery. The Rev. George Goudie will officiate.
Survivors, besides her parents, are her brother, Christopher Scott of the home; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Merle Bishop of Bardwell, Ken., Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Ray. Norris of Augusta; great-grandparents, Bert and Terry Pickett of Augusta, and Mr. & Mrs. Jack Coffey of Carson City, Calif.
