Funeral for Douglass woman set for Wednesday
Myrtle Lucille (Bing) Jacoby, 90, of Douglass, passed away Monday, Jan. 2.
Her services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 in the Douglass United Methodist Church.
Survivors include, son Harold of Wichita; brothers, Herbert Bing, Raymond Bing, both of Latham, Ralph Bing of Wichita, Keith Bing of Sepulpa, Okla.; sisters, Elsie Wilson of Fredonia, Margie Benson of West Lake, La., Bernice Barker of Augusta, Pauline Hoy of Cassoday; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass United Methodist Church.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home has the arrangements.

Former Augustan died in Ark City
Harold LeRoy “Roy” Fudge, 79, of Arkansas City and formerly of Augusta, died Monday at Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Parker Cemetery in Arkansas City.
He was born in Augusta on Aug. 2, 1909 to William David and Nancy Allison Fudge.
On March 12, 1935 he was united in marriage to Hazel Berger in Winfield. The couple farmed in Augusta until moving to Arkansas City in 1975.
Survivors include his daughter, Ruby Joyce Endrud of Arkansas City; three sisters, Mildred Fortier of Pueblo, Colo., Lucille Mauk of Pharr, Texas, Pauline Sission of Lebanon, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, William and Grover; sister, Harriette Hough; and his wife, Hazel on June 30, 1980.
Hawks Funeral Home in Arkansas City has the arragements and no memorial has been established.

Clara Ray burial was held today
Clara Ethel Jame Ray, 92, of Douglass died Saturday, Dec. 31, at the Medicalodge.
Her service were today and burial was in the Douglass Cemetery.
She was born to Gideon Walker and Margaret Gibson on Jan. 25, 1896 in Butler County.
On Nov. 14, 1914 she married Byron M. Ray, who preceded her in death in 1949.
Survivors include sons, Robert Gibson Ray of Haysville, Max Eugene Ray of Douglass; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Douglass United Methodist Church.
Dunsford Funeral Home has the arrangements.

Ralph Hime dies at 74, funeral to be Saturday
Ralph W. Hime, 74, of Augusta died Wednesday at HCA Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
His services will be at 2 Saturday afternoon at the Dunsford Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Burl Allison and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born to Ralph Leroy and Laura C. (Reef) Hime on Sept. 23, 1914 in New Hampton,
Mo.
On July 12, 1941 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Baker, who survives, in Augusta.
Other survivors, besides his wife, include daughters, Peggy Palmer of Saudi Arabia, Nikki Reagor of Augusta; brothers, Lee and Vergil, both of Augusta; sister, Christina Cron of El Dorado; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Ralph, a member of B.P.O.E. 1462, had a brother, John, that preceded him in death.
Memorials have been suggested to the Augusta Library.
