Roy W. McCrea services Thursday
Roy Wesley McCrea, 80, of Augusta, retired farmer and Minneha Township trustee, died Monday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Serivces will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Broadway Christian Church, 1130 S. Broadway, in Wichita. Officiating will be Rev. Ron Connnerly and burial will be in the Seltzer Cemetery.
He was born to Robert and Millie (Wycoff) McCrea on Aug. 21, 1908 in Wichita.
He married Audra Underwood, who preceded him in death, and on Jan. 10, 1984 he was united in marriage to Kawanna Hendrickson in Oklahoma.
Survivors include his wife, Kawanna; son, Charles of Arlington, Texas; step-sons, Jonathan Keatts of Joplin, Mo., Randall Keatts of Kansas City, William Keatts of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter, Patricia Frazier of Wichita; stepdaughter, Deborah Brockensick of Bonifay, Fla.; brother, Clifford McCrea of Wichita; four grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the TNT class at the Broadway Christian Church.

Cecil Mitchell died Monday
Cecil Paul Mitchell, 64, of El Dorado and father of Teresa Griswold of Leon, died Monday.
His services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Foursquare Gospel Church in El Dorado.
He was born to Lawrence and Elsie (Durnil) Mitchell on Dec. 3, 1924 in El Dorado.
On Oct. 8, 1949 he was united in marriage to Mabel Ruth Rodgers in Augusta. She preceded him in death in 1982.
Mitchell, a retired Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. employee, is survived by son, Doug of El Dorado; daughters, Vicky Swafford of El Dorado, Teresa Griswold of Leon; brother, Harley of El Dorado; sister, Maxine Greer of El Dorado; and six grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado has the arrangements.

Linder servces set for Thursday
Jimmy Wayne Linder, 40, of Leon, died Monday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
His services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery and Rev. Brad Cunningham will officiate.
He was born to Jimmy D. and Etta (Lowe) Linder on Jan. 23, 1949 in El Dorado.
Survivors include his parents, Jimmy and Etta of Leon; brother, Mike of El Dorado; and sister, Karen Watson of Burden.
Linder was a member of the Leon United Methodist Church and the Big Wheels bowling league in Wichita.
Memorials have been suggested to the Mid American Handicap Bowling Tournament.

Former area man dies at age 58
Edwin P. Woods, 58, of Little Rock, Ark. and formerly of the Augusta area, died Sunday, Feb. 5.
His services were today in Little Rock.
Survivors include his sons, Ed, Jim, Tom, daughter, Kim, all of Little Rock; and seven grandchildren.

Lois Hutchison dies at AMCI
Lois Ann Hutchison, 89, of Augusta and retired school teacher, died Wednesday at AMCI.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Burl Allison will be officiating.
She was born on Jan. 5, 1900 in Edgerton to Porter and Jane (Minter) Secrest.
On Sept. 12, 1929 she married Tom Hutchison in El Dorado.
Survivors include her niece, Twila Hartman of Augusta and other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters, and her husband, Tom.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association.

Augustan’s sister died on Wednesday
Marcella G. (Dechant) Zimmerman, 74 of Wichita and sister of Alice Legleiter of Augusta, died Wednesday, Feb. 8.
There will be a rosary at 8 p.m. tonight and the service will be Saturday at St. Jude’s Catholic Church at 11 a.m.
Survivors, besides her sister from here, include sons, Leon J., Denny L., both of Wichita; daughters, Zita Marchbank of Tulsa, Carol Albert of Dallas; brothers, William, Richard, Walter, all of Hays, Eugene of Wichita; sisters, Josephine Legleiter, Stella Von Feldt, both of Hays, Elenor King of Denver, Mabel Reidel of Walker; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
De Vorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary has the arrangements.
