Infant died on Wednesday
Kenneth W. Hall, 4-month-old son of James Hall of El Dorado and Nancee Zeek of Latham, died Wednesday.
His services will be 10;30 a.m. Saturday at the Latham Baptist Church.
Other survivors include brothers, Christopher Zeek, Jason Zeek, both of Andover, Shawn Smith of Topeka; sister, Stephanie Zeek of Andover; grandparents, Neil and Susan Warner of Latham, Darrell W. Lydick of El Dorado, Robert Hall of Spring-field, Mo.; great-grandmother, Wilma Linn of Latham.

Nellie R. Dennett burial in Elmwood
Nellie Ruth Dennett, 70, of Augusta and former Beechcraft employee, died Saturday, Feb.
18, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
Her funeral was today at the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel here with Rev. Max Wolf officiating. Interment was in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Dennett was born on Aug. 12, 1918 to Charles W. and Alma Grace (Persin) McCullough in Whithan, Mo.
She married Gerald Dennett in Wichita on Feb. 10, 1934. He survives.
Mrs. Dennett also leaves daughters, Shirley Ann Jackie of Douglass, Barbara White of Augusta; brothers, Charles McCullough of Augusta; sister, Mary Ray of Fairplay, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The arrangements were made by the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Augustan’s father services held today
Roy Clifford Whitson, 88, died Friday, Feb. 17.
His funeral service was today at the Palmyra Baptist Church near Benton.
He was born near Hutchinson on Oct. 5, 1900. He lived in Wichita during his childhood and later in the Benton area for almost 60 years.
On March 3, 1926 he married Wilda Faye Wintermote in Wichita. She preceded him in death in 1983. During their 57 years together they had eight children.
Surviving him are sons, Troy of Wichita, Milton of Augusta, Ivan of Wichita; daughters, Norma Little, Wauna Fuller, both of Augusta; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Downing & Lahey Funeral Home of Wichita was in charge of the arrangements.

Florence H. Hodson service held Feb. 11
Florence Helen Hodson, 77, Kansas City, Mo., mother of Mary L. Hodson of Parsons, a former staff writer/photographer for the Augusta Daily Gazette, died at home Feb. 9.
She was born April 1, 1911 in Edgerton to Ben and Erma Hainline Middleton.
She married Raymer D. Hodson in Edgerton on April 27, 1934. He survives.
Mrs. Hodson was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. She was a member of the Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City.
Other survivors include another daughter, Martha J. Hodson of Kansas City, Mo.
A memorial service was held Feb. 11 at the church. Rev. Lawrence Bash officiated. There was a cremation. Burial was in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City.
A memorial has been established with the Parkinson’s disease unit of the neurological department at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.

Douglass woman funeral today
Wanda L. Spencer, 60, of Douglass and Beech Aircraft Corp. employee, died Friday, Feb. 17, at William Newton Memorial Hospital in Winfield.
The funeral was this afternoon in the Douglass Christian Church.
She was born to Forrest and Mamie (Payton) Gillum on Oct. 14, 1928 in Binger, Okla.
Jimmy L. Spencer and her
were united in marriage on June 29, 1947.
Survivors include her daughter, Tootsie White, mother, Mamie Gillum, sister, LeEtta Miller, all of Douglass; and two grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with the Douglass High School Activity Fund.
Miles Memorial Chapel in Winfield had charge of the arrangements.

Horace E. Medlin died Friday
Horace E. Medlin Sr., 73, of Augusta and retired self-employed truck driver, died Friday, Feb. 17.
His funeral service was held Monday at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Wichita.
Survivors include his son, Butch of Wichita; daughters, Ann Gill of Oregon, Edwinna Smith of
Kent, Wash., Sharon Medlin of Wichita; sisters, Maude Cowan of Springdale, Ark., Reba Thomas of Eugene, Ore., Blanche Lyon of Newton; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Culbertson-Smith Mortuary of Wichita had the arrangements.
