Lola M. Walls service Friday
Lola Mae Walls, 69, a homemaker of Augusta, died today at St. Joseph Medal Center in Wichita.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born on Dec. 4, 1919 in Pawnee, Okla.
On Feb. 25, 1946 she was united in marriage to Thurman Walls in Independence.
Survivors include her husband, Thurman; sons, Richard of Andover, Curtis, Gene, Dale, all of Augusta; daughters, Eileen Philipi, Clara Taylor, both of Augusta; brother, Jack Brady of Lincoln, Neb.; half-brothers, Buddy Olinghouse of Peculiar, Mo., Perry Olinghouse of Stillwell, Okla.; sisters, Francis Swisher of Syracuse, Betty Kessler of Stillwell; half-sisters, Dora Brown, Doris Hart, both of Siloam Springs, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; and two spet-grandchildren.
Dunsford Funeral Home has the arrangements.

Page B. Lewis died yesterday
Page B. Lewis, 78, of rural Piedmont, died Wednesdsay.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Campbell Funeral Home in Eureka.
He was born Aug. 11, 1910 to Granville R. and Lillian (Squire) Lewis.
On Oct. 24, 1931 he was united in marriage to Jessie E. Grove in Eureka. She preceded him in death on June 6, 1982.
Survivors include three sons, Glenn of Glenrock, Wyo., Daryl of Piedmont, Page Robert of Maricaibo, Venezuela; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials are to the Beaumont Christian Church.

Burial at Elmwood for Nancy Cooley
Nancy Ann Cooley, 34, of Augusta and a nurse aide at the Augusta Medical Complex Long Term Care Unit, died today at St. Francis Regional Medical Center.
Her services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Dunsford chapel with burial in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born to Theodore and Delores (Spear) McAdams in Morristown, N.J. on July 1, 1954.
On Feb. 16, 1970 she was united in marriage to John Lester Cooley in Miami, Okla.
Survivors include her husband, John; son, Christopher, Steven, both of the home; daughter, Sarah of the home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore McAdams of Walnut Port, Penn.; and mother-in-law, Ruby Brent of the home.
Dunsford Funeral Home has the arrangements.

Services for Eastin to be held Sunday
Merle Eastin, 68, of Beaumont, died Wednesday at the Veterans Hospital in Wichita.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Beaumont Christian Church with Rev. Alan Webster officiating.
He was born Oct. 17, 1920 to James and Sadie (Young) Eastin in Beaumont.
On May 16, 1948 he was united in marriage to Wanda Murrey.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda; daughters, Tanya Dokers of Rose Hill, Torrin Folck of
Augusta, Tallette Eastin of Beaumont; and sisters, Fama Beeler of
El Dorado, Betty Jean Smith of
Towanda.
Eastin, a truck driver and carpenter, was a member of the Beaumont Christian Church and the Latham Masonic Lodge 401.
Memorials are suggested to the Veterans Hospital in his memory.

James B. Riggs service Wednesday
James Bernard Riggs, 77, of Augusta and a retired ice cream factory worker, died today at the Veterans Hospital in Wichita.
Graveside services for the World War II veteran will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Frank Miller officiating.
He was bom to James J. and Margaret (Cunningham) Riggs on March 9, 1912 in Cairo, W.Va.
Survivors include his son, LeRoy Riggs of Wellington; sisters, Goldie McKenzie, Evelyn Patten, both of Augusta; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Dunsford Funeral Home has the arrangements.
