Charlie Cabrales funeral Monday
Carlos Lino “Charlie” Cabrales, 45, Augusta, died Thursday, June 1, at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral service will be 10 o’clock Monday, June 5, in St. James Catholic Church with Fthr. Jim Billinger officiating and burial in Elmwood Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7 o’clock Sunday evening in the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel.
He was born Sept. 4, 1943 in El Dorado to Manuel anbd Carmen Contreras Cabrales.
On June 17, 1967 he and the former Peggy Jo Sheets were married.
Cabrales is a former city employee and most recently worked as security guard with Wells Fargo security system.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three sons, Steven Edward Cabrales of El Dorado, Anthony Manuel and Joseph Lee Cabrales, both of Augusta; a brother, Manuel Cabrales Jr. of El Dorado; and two sisters, Lucy Carrillo, and Helen Gallardo, both of Augusta.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Mary.
A memorial fund has been established for the family at Citadel Bank.

Sinsel buried in Moline Cemetery
Wichita man Jack Marlett Sinsel, 69, and retired Coleman Company electrician, died Friday at Wesley Medical Center.
His services were today at Dunsford chapel and burial was in the Moline Cemetery.
He was born to Peter and Lena (Tuller) Sinsel on June 31, 1919 in West Alice, Wis. and on Aug. 10, 1973 he married Elizabeth Beechner in Maize.

Robert L. Lister died on Friday
Robert Lee Lister, 72, of 124 E. Kelly in Augusta died Friday at St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita.
Services for the retired Mobil Oil machinist were held today at the First United Methodist Church and burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born on Sept. 21, 1916 in Emporia to Elmer and Iva Pearl (Freeman) Lister.
On Aug. 2, 1941 he married Clara Burk in El Dorado. She preceded him in death in 1971 and on Dec. 29, 1972 he exchanged wedding vows with Mildred Durant Shunk in Andover.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred; daughters, Anna Kathleen George, Barbara Kay Lane, both of Augusta, Patricia Lynn Thomas of El Dorado; stepdaughter, Donna Jeanne PeKich of Phoenix, Karen Anne Tones of Andover; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Augusta First United Methodist Church building fund.
Dunsford Funeral Home has the arrangements.
Towanda man died at AMCI
Gerald Dean Wyer, 66, of Towanda died Saturday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Services for the retired heavy equipment mechanic for Prairie State and Standard Construction Companies will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Cantwell-VanCampen Funeral Home in Haven.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline; sons, Michael, Kenneth, both of Hutchinson, Gary of Mt. Hope, Glenn of Wichita, Ralph, Robert, both of Haven; daughter, Patricia Wyer of Haven; stepson, Terry Marten of Augusta; two step-daughters, Janice Wilson, Rowena Warner, both of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; and
Memorials are to the American Heart Association or Boy Scouts of America.

Step-father of Augustan died
Ben Harvey Fewin, 85, of Wichita and step-father of Jim Winchell of Augusta, died Sunday, June 4.
Services were held today at Smith Mortuary in Haysville.
The retired pipe fitter is survived by his wife, Martha; stepsons, Russell Winchell of Haysville, Jim Winchell of Augusta; brother, Luther of Ontario, Canada; three step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established with Hospice of Wichita.

Former Augustan died in Houston
Louis E. Hundemer, 72, of Riverside, Texas, died Monday at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston.
The former Augustan was a plant superintendant at the Loadcraft Military Trailer Company.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth L.; sons, Barry of California, Jim, Mark, Scott, all of Texas; four sisters all of Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Martha’s Catholic Church in Kingwood, Texas. Burial will be in Houston.
