Paul Kinnamon funeral Thursday
Paul E. Kinnamon, 86, of 1238 Osage in Augusta died Monday at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Services for the retired stone mason will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dunsford chapel with Rev. Harold Kieler officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Douglass Cemetery.
Kinnamon was born on Nov. 20, 1902 in Coffeyville to Samuel and Nancy Kinnamon.
On July 10, 1929 he married Hazel A. Isaac in Douglass.
He leaves his wife, Hazel; son,
Francis of Independence; daughters, Joyce Muse of Potwin, Ann Gray of Cortez, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Kinnamon, a member of the First United Methodist Church, was preceded in death by his two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial has been established with the Augusta First United Methodist Church.

Augustan’s sister dies in El Dorado
Sister of Augustan Helen McVay, Mary O. Oldfield, 73, of El Dorado died Monday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado with Rev. Marvin Bower officiating.
The retired bookkeeper is survived by her husband, Henry Oldfield of El Dorado; sisters, Jesse Patrick of El Dorado, Marjorie Harmon of Lubbock, Texas, Helen McVay of Augusta; aunt, Mrs. Francis B. Harvey of Wichita; one niece; and two nephews.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado has the arrangements.
Burial in Elmwood for Opal M. Luper
Augustan Opal Mae Luper, 74, died Monday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
She was born April 2, 1915 to William X. and Sadie Mae Elrod in Flippen, Ark.
On Feb. 20, 1931 she was united in marriage to Paul Allen Luper in Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1979.
Her services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunsford chapel with Rev. Lyle Malcolm officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Keith and his wife Kolene of Augusta; brother, Bill Elrod of Maidson; sisters, Juanita Hutson,
Geneva Seevers, Mary Lloyd, Wanda Nation, Valoyce Richords, Darlene Patterson, all of Arkansas City; three grandchildren, Steve of Augusta, Graig of Tulsa, Kirk of Wichita; and four great-grandchildren.
Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Maness memorial at Prairie State
A memorial has been established at the Prairie State Bank by the members and friends of the Augusta High School class of 1958 in remembrance of Terri Renee Maness.
Contributions may be dropped at the Prairie State Bank drive-in, at the downtown bank, or mailed to the bank.
