Blanch Roblin
Dies At 72
Blanch Roblin, 72, Benton, died Wednesday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita.
Her service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Benton United Methodist Church. Rev. Duane Harms and Rev. Chuck McCrea will officiate. Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
She was born Sept. 4, 1909 in Augusta to William and Maude L. Beaver Bates.
She married George Roblin. He preceded her in death in 1969.
She grew up in Augusta and later moved to the Benton area.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Extension Homemakers Unit and Golden Age Club, all in Benton.
Survivors include sons, Billy Dean Roblin of Springfield, Mo., and Bobby Joe Roblin of Benton; a daughter, Beverly Goodson of Wichita; a brother, Frank Bates of Burrton; a sister, Lena Onfer of Chino, Calif.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
H.L. Selvage Dies At 69
Hubert L. Selvage, 69, Wichita, formerly of Leon, died Aug. 25 at his home.
His service will be at 2 p.m.Saturday at the Broadway Mortuary in Wichita. Rev. Lewis D. Fowler will officiate. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Cumberland Cemetery, near Augusta. He was born Oct. 15, 1912 in Leon to Charles and Minta Schawler Selvage.
Other survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Selvage of Wichita; a brother, Veryl Selvage of Udall and a grandchild.

Services for Jeanne Woods Liby, 36, Rose Hill, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Mulvane.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Oatville.
A memorial fund has been established with the Jeanne Woods Liby Scholarship Fund in care of the Rose Hill State Bank and at the American Diabetic Association, 2312 East Central, Wichita.
She died Tuesday of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Sedgwick County.
She was born May 8, 1946 in Wichita to Fred and Sarah Oliver Wood.
She taught nine years in the Rose Hill school system. She had been a kindergarten teacher. This year she was scheduled to teach second grade.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Liby, Rose Hill; two sons, Lance and Luke, both of the home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Woods of Peck; sisters, Lou Anne Ward of Simi Valley, Calif., Faye Stander of Topeka and Gayle Graham of Reading.
Broadway Mortuary in Wichita is in charge of arrangements.
