Augustan’s mother died in Colorado
Augustan Norman Allen’s mother, Mildred Harder, 83, of Woodland Park, Colo., died Monday at Penrose Hospital in Penrose, Colo.
Her services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the LaCrosse Methodist Church.
Other survivors include one son, Gene Allen of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter, Venita Daniels of Penrose; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Janusek Funeral Home in LaCrosse is in charge of the arrangements.

Wolf’s mother to be buried in Belle Plaine
Ethel Alveda (Smart) Wolf, 87, of Wichita and mother of Augustan Milton M. Wolf, died Monday.

Roy Tucker died Friday
Roy Charles Tucker, 81, of Augusta, died Friday at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.
His services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Dunsford Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.

Wednesday service for Winifred Rodelander
Augustan Winifred H. “Wynne” Rodelander, 62, died Saturday at HCA Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Services for the former employee of Lytton’s and the S.R.S. will be in the Dunsford chapel at 1 Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Harold Kieler officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Memorials are to the Rodelander family.

Ena Evon (Luginbill) Chastain, 51, of Derby, died Saturday, Aug. 19.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dunsford Chapel with Rev. J.D. Masters officiating and burial in the Fairview Cemetery.
Kenneth Jones’ mother died Friday in Ulysses
E. Frances Jones, 78, mother of Kenneth Jones of Augusta, died Friday, Aug. 18, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.
Funeral services were held today at the First Baptist Church of Ulysses.

Augustan’s sister
Sister of Augustan Fern Reser, Margaret M. (Conder) Newman, 81, a homemaker from Ellin-wood, died Thursday.

Chastain service at chapel here
Edna Evon (Luginbill) Chastain, 51, of Derby, died Saturday, Aug. 19.
Her funeral was today at the Dunsford Chapel. Rev. J.D. Masters officiated and burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, George; sons, Glenn Rupe of Wichita, Dale Luginbill of Rose Hill; daughter, Kathryn Crumrine of Wichita; stepdaughters, Kassandra Kennedy, Candace Dunn, both of Wichita; brothers, David Allen of Batesville, Ark., Boyd Allen of Leon, Jimmy Allen of Coloma, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, Rhonda and Crystal Kunkle, Michael and Daniel Beavers, Casey, Brandon and Jerrod Dunn, Jordon Kennedy; and one great-granddaughter, Charity Evon.
She was born Feb. 23, 1938 in Huff, Ark. to Loranzia and Gracie Allen. On June 1, 1982 she married George Chastain in Wichita.
A memorial has been established with the Sedgwick County Hospice.

Jeanie Sanders dies in Oklahoma
Jeanie Doris (Mauk) Sanders, 56, of Pryor, Okla., died Monday, Aug. 14, at a hospital in Tulsa, Okla.
Her funeral service was held Aug. 17 in Claremore, Okla., and burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery there.
She was born Sept. 25, 1932 in Wichita as a daughter of Floyd R. and Pearl Brown Mauk.
She leaves her husband, Robert E. Sanders, of the home; a stepson, Michael Sanders; a daughter, Robyn K. Mayfield; a sister, Evelyn Mayfield; two brothers, Richard and Jim Mauk, and two grandchildren, Dustin and Brandy Mayfield.
