Ruth Nina Daniel dies at 93
Homemaker Ruth Nina Daniel, 93, Augusta, died today at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Amos Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Leon Cemetery, Leon.
She was born Nov. 6, 1896 to Sherman Downs and Mary C. Craig.
In June of 1944, she married
Dewey Hugh Daniel in Wichita. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Survivors include daughters, Charlene Plunkett and Imogene Rutherford, both of Fresno, Calif.; step-daughters, Lela Pinkerton of Mansfield, La., Betty Easley of Caldwell, Idaho; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Daniel belonged to the Nararene church.

C. Cron service on Saturday
Graveside services for Christina “Rubein” Cron, 73, El Dorado, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Elmwood Cemetery here with Rev. Burl Allison officiating.
She died Dec. 25 in Santa Clara, Calif.
Cron was born Aug. 22, 1916 to Ralph Le Roy Hime and Laura Rief. She had been a sales clerk for Montgomery Wards in El
Dorado.
Survivors include son Bob Cron of Santa Clara; daughter Betty Jo Vosburg of Augusta; brothers Lee Cron and Vergil Hime, both of Augusta; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, 3210 E. Douglas, Wichita, Kan. 67208.

Homer R. Young died Wednesday
Homer Robert Young, 68, of Wichita, brother of Helen Holman of Leon, died Wednesday, Dec. 27.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 o’clock Saturday morning at the Full Gospel Chapel in Wichita.
In addition to his sister in Leon, Mr. Young leaves a wife,
Carol,; two sons, Robert of Wichita and Stuart of Greenville, Texas; two daughters, Sherry Green of Jupiter, Fla., and Coleen Bilyew of Tulsa, Okla.; another sister, Rose Campbell of Seattle, Wash., 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The Broadway Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Hazel Ault dies
Services for Hazel Ault, 96, El Dorado, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado. Inturnment will follow in Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado.
She died Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 1, 1893 at Hutsonville, Ill to James H. and Dovey Ann (Meek) Southard.
Ault moved to El Dorado in 1937 from Madison and spent most of her life in the area. She has been a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado and circles of the church.
In 1912, she married George E. Ault in Trimbell, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1953.
Survivors include two daughters, Marguerite Lasater and Virginia Watson, both of El Dorado, two grandsons, Rob Lasater of Albuquerque, N.M.. and John Lasater of El Dorado; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
