Bette Hanna dies Thursday
Services for Bette Mae Hanna, 53, Wichita, will be at noon Tuesday, Jan. 16, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
She died Thursday, Jan. 11.
Survivors include a daughter, Lori Deere of Augusta; and three grandchildren.
Broadway Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Alva Neilhardt dies Thursday
Self employed drywall finisher, Alva J. “Al” Neilhardt, 63, Wichita, died Thursday, Jan. 11. There will be no service.
He will be buried in Miami, Okla.
On Nov. 17, 1955, he married Lavona Shelit.
Survivors include his wife,
Lavona; sons, David Neilhardt of Klamath Falls, Ore, Richard Neilhardt of Carson, Iowa; daughter, Sherry Lovitt of Bakersfield, Calif.; sisters, Mary Strait, Mamie Reisch, both of Augusta; five grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.

Lloyd H. Clark dies at Wesley
Butler County farmer Lloyd H. Clark, 79, of rural Leon, died today, Jan. 16, at the HCA Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
His funeral service is scheduled for 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon, Jan. 18, at the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel with Ed Gray officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 17, 1910 at Haverhill to William F. Clark and Effie Gregg Clark.
On March 31, 1938, he and the former Minnie F. Tway were united in marriage at Newton. She survives.
In addition to the wife, Mr. Clark leaves three sons, William E. Clark of Sidney, Neb., Robert H. Clark of Douglass, and L. Bruce Clark of Atlanta; a brother, Charles W. Clark of Augusta; two sisters, Opalmae Jackson of Augusta, and Berneta Licklyter of Waco, Texas; eight grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren.
Memorials to the Zion Bible Church have been suggested.

Services pending for Roy Gallop
Roy Lee Gallop, 82, Augusta died today at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Services are pending at the Dunsford Funeral Home.

Estella McCluggage dies Tuesday
Services for Estella (McCune) McCluggage, 97, Douglass, are 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Church of Christ.
She died Tuesday, Jan. 16.
McCluggage had been a homemaker and a Stanley Home Products dealer.
Survivors include sons, Melvin McCluggage of Belle Plain, Estel McCluggage of Edmond, Okla., and James McCluggage of
Douglass; daughters, Marciele Hicks of Wichita, Madge Lewis of Vicksburg, Miss., Marilyn Allen of Searcy, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Maude Carpenter Children’s Home in Wichita.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass is in charge of arrangments.

Roy Lee Gallop services Monday
Services for Roy Lee Gallop, 82, Augusta, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dunsford Funeral Home chapel, the Rev Steve Frank officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Gallop died Thursday, Jan. 18, at the Augusta Medical Complex.
He was born Sept. 15, 1907 in
Birmingham, Ala. to L.J. and Lou Gallop.
On May 10, 1963, he married Mabel Loraine Ridge in Plattsburg, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Chet A. Bell, Norcross, Ga.; and three stepgrandchildren.
Gallop was a Lear Siegler Aircraft mechanic. He belonged to the Wesleyn Church.
