P. Lough services Thursday
Peter James Ellsworth Lough, 81, Haysville, died Monday, Jan. 22, at Riverside Hospital.
Lough was a retired station engineer for the Wichita/ Sedgwick County Department of Community Health.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
Lough was born Feb. 2, 1908 in Blane County, Oklahoma.
Survivors include sons, Ellsworth C. Lough of Wichita, James E. Lough of Napa Valley, Calif., Larry Lough of Wichita; daughters, Carol Eliot of Haysville, Joy Starkey of Wichita and Naomi Kirtley of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Maggie Pedigo of Hydro, Okla.; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association, 2100 E. Douglas, Wichita, Kan. 67214.

Ivan L. Smith dies at age 73
Retired mobile home salesman Ivan L. Smith, 73, Augusta, died Tuesday, Jan. 23.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Broadway Mortuary in Wichita.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; son, Bill G. Smith of Portland, Ore.; daughter, Betty Heiman of Wichita; stepsons, Richard Beasley of Derby, Don Beasley of Lee’s Summit, Mo., David Beasley of Manchester, Mo.; stepdaughter, Patricia Valentine of Scottsdale, Ariz.; brothers, Paul, Golden and Robert Smith, all of Wichita; sister, Stella Vogt of Wichita; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
M. Grassmick died Jan. 16
Funeral services for Michael Terry Grassmick, 42, Rocky Ford, Colo., were Monday, Jan. 22, at the Ustick Donelson Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, the Rev. Tom Welch officiating.
Music at the service was provided by Grassmick’s aunt, Esther Allen.
Grassmick died Jan. 16 of injuries suffered in a traffic accident west of Augusta..
He was born Feb. 8, 1947 in Rocky Ford.
Survivors include his father, Conrad Grassmick of Rocky Ford; a brother, Jim Grassmick of Santee, Calif.; sisters Darlene Shaw and Lois Jean, both of Colorado.
