Ralph Break services Monday, Jan. 29
Retired production worker for Mobile Oil Ralph Wilson Break, 86, Augusta, died Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, at Dunsford Chapel in Augusta.
Burial will be in Florence. Break was born June 14, 1905 to Nellie Britton and David Break in Florence.
On Feb. 1, 1924, he married Ollie Melvina Pierce in Marion.
Survivors include his wife; brother, Ernest Break of Florence; and three grandchildren, Richard Break of Caddo, Okla., Randy Break of Cyril, Okla., and Patrick Break, Lindsey, Okla.
A son, Robert W. Break, preceded him in death.
Break had been a Methodist.
A memorial fund has been established with the Florence Senior Citizens Center in Florence.
Theil of Wichita dies Wednesday
Gertrude M. Theil, 75, Wichita, died Wednesday, Jan. 24.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Harper Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Bobbie Duane Theil of Douglass; daughters, Delores Jane Crater of Medicine Lodge, Loretta Irene McFall of Little Rock; sister, Marie Renollett of Wichita; nine
grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Elliott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Boy dies at grandparents’ home
Services for Ross A. Sykes, 6, Coffeyville, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Murdock Funeral Home in Oswego, the Rev. Chris Williams officiating.
Burial will be in the Oswego Cemetery.
Sykes died at 4 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at the home of his grandparents in Augusta. The boy drowned Nov. 6 at Coffeyville and had been revived but suffered irrevocable damage.
He was born Oct. 17, 1983 at Edmond, Okla.
Survivors include his parents, Steven and Roxanne Sykes of Coffeyville; a brother, Jason Sykes of Mound Valley; maternal grandparents Gerald and Kathy Allen of McCune; maternal great-grandparent Nora Perkins of North Highland, Calif.; paternal grandparents, Howard and Donna Sykes of Augusta; paternal great-grandparents Harold and Charlotte White of Oswego; and several aunts and uncles.
John Moran dies in El Dorado
John L. Moran, 65, El Dorado, died Friday, Jan. 26, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the Earlton Cemetery in Earlton.
He was born Oct. 5, 1924 at Tonkowa, Okla., to John and Elizabeth Wheeler Moran.
Survivors include brothers, Richard Moran of Augusta, and Robert Moran of Chanute; and a sister, Joetta Cruces, Ottawa.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
Carlson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
